when shedding off excess bf or doing a mini cut, do you still continue with progressive overload, but just lower calories by 400-500 (or whatever suits one) or you do a proper cut, but just 4 weeks??
It's good to hear that you used to only be able to eat between 1,600-1,700 cals because I recently starting tracking and was shocked how far away from goal I was! Yesterday I only hit 1,600 and I was like "No way I could hit 3,000!"… going to try to slowly up it though
as a beginner in lifting, is it ok to deadlift and back squatting 5 times a week?? im thinking as part of my workout routine to deadlift and backsquat, then do a variety of benchpress/frontsquat/cleans/snatch/clean&jerk every other day..
Hi Omar. Huge fan! I was wondering if I should do chest with shoulders and triceps? I've been doing it like that for some time but my coach I just hired told me to do shoulders separately because he said it would be ineffective to train them like that. I need some good advice from you.
im 17, 5'6 boy 158 lbs I think im over 20 percent body fat. I can't see my abs. My TDEE is 2600 calories. Should I maintain or cut. Im currently running The Alpha destiny novice full body program 3 times a week.
My biggest mistakes has been to not progress squats and bench sooner(my deadlifts are way ahead) and I have been doing far too many different minor isolation exercises. And I wish I knew more about mind/muscle connection before I started and trained my back more(just to learn how to train back). I haven't skipped back day, but I should have done it twice as much because it's the hardest body part to train. And that I did more research on all the major lifts before trying them.
Started lifting 4 weeks ago and have doubled the weight on every exercise since then. 235 lbs calf raises btw. Going to the gym 4-5 times a week. I am vegan so I supplement protein some days and B12.

6.) always remember to train calves once, and then make sure you do them a year later so they don't get too fatigued
