EDIT: To be accurate: Thor had 4 "bad reps" but the judges only deducted one. They allowed 3 "bad reps" to be accepted. Giving him a significant break.

Clearly double-dipping. And it was only 1 point that was removed. Thor got 3 warnings before they removed any points. Should have removed 4 points total, but only removed 1.

The ref gave Thor 3 reps he said he shouldnt have kept lowering th weight ignoring the referee warning after warning. Then the thing with Brian shaw said Brians time was up b4 he locked out him and 10guys he is with, ruins the entire strongman atmosphere a few bullies do.

I think the biggest aspect to take from the videos is what a douche of a dad Hafthor has been given. I feel for him and wouldnt even bring his "disappointed" ass to any of the events. What a textbook dick of a father. I've never seen a 6'9" 450 lb man bow his head in shame because dad is giving him this back turned bullshit after every event. The side by side really shows that Thor held the lift longer over his head. That doest seem fair. Eddy clearly got the down call earlier. Sure Thor knees very slightly bent.
Thor entered already as a violator. He has been doing double dipping already. Also he was happy with 14 reps he got till Eddie did 15.If Thor had paused at 10 reps, he could have maybe done that extra 1 rep.

Issue besides double-dipping is holding up top. Look at how long Eddie is holding and no one is telling him to hold. Hafthor is having to hold longer because Colin was taking his sweet time and kept yelling at him to hold. What do you think? That in itself could have cost Hafthor some unnecessary energy.
