Who has the Sandow?
Considering the few weaknesses Dexter has, I feel an average Shawn beats an average Dex. I say that because of the abs and calves. However at their very best, Dexter wins with his fullness and taper.
Shawn is correct.
I would argue that the last Apollonian Mr Olympia was Lee Haney.
But the last Apollonian top tier competitor may have been Shawn.
He still competed as synthol and bubble guts "rose"

Makes me laugh .. I think DeX is a phenomenal bodybuilder.. but to all fan boys of dexter just look up the pics of Shaun or vids when hes in the gym .. he was and still is one of the greatest bodybuilders in the history of the sport ..dexter didn't and was never blessed and cant even come close to the symmetry of Shaun Ray .. love or hate how he is so outspoken, that aside Shaun crushes Dexter
Come on y'all. What kind of a stupid comparison is this? While Shawn was one of the best BBs in his time, and I do believe that he should have at least one Sandow, his career will NEVER….. EVER, compare to Dexter's. This man has so many wins, a record which probably will never be broken, and is STILL whipping BBs half his age. Seems like Shawn is just jealous that Dex will go down in history as arguably, the most legendary bodybuilder of all time, and he won't. Now I've always liked Shawn because no matter how people didn't like it, he told the truth about a lot of things, especially how BB contests are judged. But this time I think he put his foot in his mouth one time too many, and deserves the scorn he's got coming to him.

What a boring topic. Shawn isn 't Mr.O, Dexter is Mr. O. Just this counts – period.
Much respect….Dex is the man! But without Shawn Ray around who would stir the pot! He knows what he's doing. Right or wrong at least he keeps it interesting!
Doesn't matter what Dexter says he's only bigger than Shawn that's all quality wise and aesthetic wise he'll never compare with Ray. Yes I give him props for his accomplishments but all that is due to him competing for a much longer time against less stiff competition. Not knocking him there were times he was outstanding but Shawn Ray's body is a work of art and if asked the question I'm sure ninety percent of guys who've seen both of them would tell you they'd rather look like Shawn.
Neither Fuck Dexter. He claims positivity but blasts people and tells them they should never compete. Notice is old bitter ass is STILL wearing his '08 Olympia jacket, holding onto his only glory. THAT WAS 12 YEARS AGO DEXTER!!! That's his only Mr.O win, time to move on has been.

Shawn is always saying it as it is with almost no filter. It sucks when you gave it all and then some people start using Synthol, implants, insulin etc.. An now you're considered average bodybuilder that will vanish in the history books. I totally get Shawn.
But on the other hand, Dexter had to deal with his competition and they weren't playing fair neither. He had to do what he had to do.
Who's the better bodybuilder? Shawn Ray. Very esthetic, great posing and beautiful shape. One of my all time favorite.

Shawn Rey has stayed in drama since I started following bodybuilding in the 90’s. I still have all my Ironman, MuscleMag and Flex magazines from back than n it seems he’s always involved in some controversy.
Shawn had a better physique ( just my opinion) but Dexter was VASTLY more successful than Shawn.

Fluke or no fluke Dexter won a Mr.Olympia, now Shaun Ray didn't win shite sorry i'll rephrase that he won 2 comps i think on Shaun's behalf there's a lot of jealousy and sour grapes he just needs to man up instead of bad mouthing bodybuilders who not only beat him but bear him like a dog.
