the best video on squats so far. can you explain on targeting different muscle group with stance?
Is it bad if your toes are pointing out a lot
I currently have two torn meniscus ppl used to always tell me I have to be squatting mwith my toes pointing straight/ forward but when I would do it and I would always feel pain in my knees and back but when I point it mid facing outwards I feel no pain or strain.
Brendan Tietz one of if not the best on YouTube regarding powerlifting in my opinion, covers all avenues.
Should definitely do more squat info videos, I've watched like 40 the past couple days cuz I got injured and am trying to restructure my squat accordingly and this has helped me more than like the past 20 combined

My squat to dead ratio is horrible 80kg to 150kg. I just squatted 100kg using your advice. I will be practicing hip mobility and dorsiflexion issue but i was and will be a wide squatter.

This is so great. I squat similarly to Taras , and I always thought I was doing it wrong because i started too much tension in my inner thigh rather than my quads. I recently switched to a more narrow stance, similar to Gina, and I find it so uncomfortable. I will probably switch back to my natural stance. I only switched because I felt like I was doing it wrong forever. Thanks Coach!

This was really helpful, thank you. As someone with a naturally wide base, I would constantly work to straighten up or narrow my squat in ways that I'm now finding weren't really helpful. I've had a lot of injuries in the past not because of poor form, but because, as you've shown us, the "ideal" form I tried to implement wasn't what was right for my build. I really appreciate this!

Thank you. This helped a lot. I've been wide and trying to bring it closer but now feel comfortable staying wide. Adding front squats to every workout since my wider stance is bringing more hams/glutes in play with back squats.

mate, i was doing narrow stance squats for such a long time, always got lower back pain after doing my sets and could barely do my assistance exercises after but stuck to it because ATG is gospel on the internet. Recently tried a wider stance, back pain gone, glutes activate way more and squats just feel safer and more stable.
