What does infrastructure have anything to do with lifting weights…obviously this guy's a beast but i don't think Hafthor's record is in any danger.
Seriously, it doesnt count unless its made in an official competition with international standards and judges. This goes for thors lift aswell, Eddies is still world record holder. FFS, has quality control went out the window!?!? Anyone can make claims in their own gyms or setups…

Eddie Hall did it in dedlift competition so was lifting weights before 500kg not just a single lift so to me he is a winner

I think Adam Bishop could be a contender with his unofficial WR “ silver dollar “ deadlift if he put his heart and soul on to training for this. He’s pulling high numbers. All of a sudden everybody are breaking records in there homes lol…A legit record only stands if you break it in a official competition….ask any sportsman ask a marathon runner his best personal record timing will be running alone while training and not at the olympics….Home record mean no shit….Bodybuilders look Mr Olympia in there gyms but not that impressive on stage…only competition records should be taken seriously…or this shit is a joke

I dont care what anyone says Eddie's deadlift was best! For one eddie hall is alot smaller guy and two he was the first to do it 5 years ago!! These guys have had years to beat this and it is just getting to that point of eddie would have trained the last 5 years as hard as the rest of these guys he would be setting the new record lol and no I'm not a brit am an american I just dont find there lifts as impressive especially since it's been 5 fucking years lol ya they better be lifting more by now haha

Whatever juice theyre using in Iran, its real. I believe the last couple of Olympic champs have been Iranian and they blew the competiton out of the water and I dont think they ever failed a drug test. Hathor's fragile ego couldnt handle it. Iranians have been reigning the heavy weight lifting class and other classes and are born weightlifters.
The deadlift event is a new introduction to Iran so many strong men will compete in it. The dead lift fight was only in America or Europe before but now it has gone outside.
Many deadlift world records are set individually. Here the viewers don't know how much the weight weighs. In Punjab heavy stones are lifted which is a tradition but are weighed on a scale showing the whole viewers how much the weight weighs. Thus nobody will be skeptical. Thor lifted 501 kg but nobody knows if it's 501 or less. In Punjab weight lifters were not actually lifting what they were boasting so later scales were brought to weigh the weights.
