The bar movement thank you from all the world, but please, no olympics, no sport. Those things do already exist: It is called gymnastics. Gymnastics, and like every other sport, it is corrupted by competition, plagued with drugs.

Let's replace competition with emulation and have the bar movement worldwide be what it should be: A LIFESTYLE promotting freedom and balance, for the body, the mind and the soul.

Good luck.

@pamphlex We are not gymnasts. There are clear differences between us.

@pamphlex I agree. I feel that the bar game is like parkour, not a competition. Nevertheless, there are already street workout championships in Latvia and Ukraine. The movement is spreading, and it seems Barstarrz will take it to the next level.

Gymnasts are swinging, jumping and flying all over the place. Barstarzz are being creative on a bar, with raw strength and doing a lot off variations of well known exercise.

No, never be at olympics or national sports.Just organizations everywhere where people help other people train and to get by rougher moments in life.Make a competition and you got yourself the start of a war

gymnast shows are about the beauty and difficulty of a gymnast's performance, calisthenics is a healthy and ghetto/cheap way of strength and body building. calisthenics competitions are about having the sickest moves, not about having the toughest and difficult performance

You need to work on your muscle ups.

OfficialBarstarzz January 28, 2013 - 8:07 am

I can do perfect muscle ups. Are you watching the video? I am doing a muscle up in between monkey bars. Do you know how small that space is?A bar directly behind me and one directly in front of me.

OfficialBarstarzz January 28, 2013 - 8:08 am

Plus no swing straight up

Actually, calisthenics was used for body conditioning all throughout the USSR, but was forgotten later on. I'm sure it was used even much before that as well, but respect goes to barstarz for the promotion and real result display!

Do you even muscle up?

Reply
Daniel Cannon February 20, 2013 - 10:13 am

Yes. Those were good muscle ups, but what is with 31 seconds? You are kipping heaps?

Reply
OfficialBarstarzz February 20, 2013 - 1:37 pm

Your not seeing me in muscles ups. Not even in your wildest dreams

Reply
Daniel Cannon March 2, 2013 - 7:19 am

Not sure what you are trying to say, but I can muscle up. No kip.

Saying Ed can't muscle ups, is like saying Rocco Siffredi can't fuck.
Some people simply don't know shit. lol

I"ve been following barstarz for a while, most if not all have some of the cleanest muscle ups I have ever seen. the reason WHY they kip is to get height and momentum to perform claps, tricks, etc.
You are allowed to kip to, it's a free country
