Hey Rob, do you think that refeed days are better than a cheat day/meal? Which do you think is better for the best results. I understand that a cheat meal/day is just there for someone to stay sane, but do you think that a cheat meal or day shouldn't go over your daily calories for a cut let's say?
Rob when transitioning from a big bulk (maintenance +500) to a cut (maintenance -500) should one drop calories immediately from the bulk calories to the cutting calories or should one gradually reduce calories (e.g 300 a week) untill one reaches the deficits calories?

HI Rob, im 44 years old ive been training for over 20 years ( on and off) ive always had a problem gaining weight, so the last 6 montgs ive spent a lot of money and a lot of time gradually increasing my calories, im using my fitness pall ( have done for couple years now) so my maintenence has always been about 2,600 calories, and right now im up to about 3,600 and still not gaining weight ? Why might this be? I train 3 times a week, full body workouts only compound movements, bench press, dead lift, pull ups, dips any info welcome 😊

I keep relapsing Ben cutting for 3 years lost 30 pounds probably lost more because of gain loose gain loose. Also gotten stronger. Still at 18% bf. It's the sweets I know
I’m a 17 year old male, I am 5’10 and I’m trying to shred down a bit. I am in relatively good shape and have a very visible 4 pack but do have a layer of fat and especially in my lower stomach. So any advice, about eating or exercise would be greatly appreciated, as I want to keep muscle but shred fat👍🏼
Honestly why does the stupid machine say my bf% is 23.8% it is actually around 16%-17% when I compare it to pictures, and it says my maintenance is 1500 calories, my younger brother who weighs 52 kg and is 188 cm tall (115 lbs and 6'2) has super high metabolism and the machine says his maintenance is around 1400 calories I call BS there's no fucking way I can know my caloric maintenance level to go on a bulk/cut phase (although I'm eating at least 2250 calories a day which is kinda the most i can during my bulk phase).
