Full range of motion; All the way up, elbows just about locked I guess, all the way down.

@thepraddagee you feel them more on your chest and shoulders if you do them inclined. Give them a try.
is it everyday routine ?
No man, it hurts your shoulders and joints in the long term if you do it continuously, you must rest at least 2 -3 days inbetween workouts, I mean for a regular guy.

If you want to build muscle, you should Google "H6x Muscle Monster". They can help you get the body you deserve.
If you lock out at the top of the pushup you allow for rest and that equals less time under tension, and less work. Locking out it not perfect form.

Hey, have you tried "MuscLeader" (look on Google)? On their website you will find a good free video showing the best way to grow noticeable muscle fast whilst burning unwanted fat as well. Ryan and many other guys enjoyed good success applying this approach. It may work for you also.
Have you seen "Smashing Ripped X?" (check it out on Google) It is a quick and easy way for you to build muscle fast.
Does it work?
It is perfect form, locking out and letting your chest touch the ground on the way down work the muscles to their peak, that's why you can't do as many push ups when you lock out.
@Joe hegedus, ok while it may arguably be perfect form you obviously dont know what your talking about. If you lock out you can do way more pushups than if you dont. Its called time under tension. The more time under tension the more work. Dont lock out and stop just before the ground and you do more work. Look it up, try it and do your research.

Nbanfl2262…u judge the book by its cover…the barstar guy is great bec he can do plyometric pushups in proper form…ive been doing this for 2 months but its hard to maintain proper form..but ive noticed a big improvement in my punching power in boxing…since this is a plyometirc exercise, this enhances your explosive power on ur muscles…try to apreciate this instructor is trying to help…I tell u 2 in 1 bonus for this exercise the u will have an improved punching power and toned chest…what more can u ask for?tnx barstarzz keep it up!

im 15 getting a bigger chest by doing 3 sets of 15 regular push ups with a 15 pound vest on 3 sets of 10 decline push ups witg vest 3 sets of 10 diamond push ups and 3 sets of 10 dips. you feel the burn🔥
