Hit 485lb x 5 on the deadlifts, heaviest I've gone in 2 years and this is only the beginning. Thanks to everyone for the support. Get our new powerlifting program for 40% OFF here while it's on sale: https://kizentraining.com/p/powerlifting-12-week

Nice dude. Question: when counting calories, do you take into consideration calories burned throughout the day and add those "earned" calories to you food intake? Or do you just stick to a strict caloric intake number no matter what you burn throughout the day?…
Thanks man!

I'm swapping from high to low bar squats and I feel a lot stronger but the weight feels strange where i'm sitting the bar. Is this normal?

hi OmarIsuf, I have recently grade 2 fkd my hamstring, just starting to squat now after 2 weeks off, feels comfortable with the bar alone for set of 25s. My best before the Injury was 405 for 6, how would I get back back into strength training without rushing and adding too much weight to quickly??? thanks man!

Shin pads lol. Other than snapping my lower back, cutting up my shins is so annoying with the dead lift.

Omar, I think you should initiate the squat with your hips rotated towards the wall behind you… Mantaining that kyphotic posture makes you either round your back in the hole OR push your knees forward (which is what happens).

Also, what the f*** is that bench…?! The warm-up in the bench press should be used to practice the technique for higher weights… If you jiggle, crush at the chest, lift your butt up while pushing, do touch-and-go reps, what good is that for? None of those reps would ever be valid in a Powerlifting competition, so I really don't know why you would practice them in general…

Homer, you need to eat. Cut out that lean crap. Eat and lift weights. It’s a lifestyle. In the Balkan countries they have a proverb – leanness is for weaklings.
