Very courageous for Keone to make this PSA. We've come a long way as a society, when it comes to dealing with mental illness. The stigma is lessening for sure, and Keone is another major force contributing to this progress. More power to him!

Keone shouldn't have done the Chicago if he wasn't planning on doing the Olympia, that seems pretty selfish to me. Im sure the guy who got 2nd to him isnt to thrilled with it either since he would have got the win and qualified for the O. And Ramy posted a pic of himself back in the gym a few days after he announced his positive test so he was definitely back training and didnt sit at home for 2 weeks. As he should have done if he really did have covid.
mental stress means you have an abusive b#@$ and you need to get a new one even if its the mother of your child or children. much respect for talking about it tho. still should have entered the olympia becasue its like next week. go and then focus on the issues

Nick, "Everyone goes through it… (Mental Health issues) NO… NO…NO!!! i know what u mean but everyone DOES NOT GO THROUGH IT. Mental illness and depression is very common but it cannot be trivialized. Thats how you made it sound. Most people will feel down or even be depressed at times but thats a far cry from being diagnosed as chronically depressed or bi-polar.
Lee Haney the GOAT said it best, without Mind and Muscle you have zero. You can have muscle but without the mindset you’re still at zero and that’s with anything you do in life. Check out Lee Haney old school bodybuilding video on YTube. 👍 Kudos to Keon for recognizing strengths and weaknesses and taking action to do something about it instead of letting the fear of harsh reaction plaguing. No I’m still not buying into Ramy being entitled to a special invite. Regardless of all the adverse circumstances he endured through the year, he still should have to “Do The Work” and qualify like the rest of the ifbb pros that weren’t extended this same helping hand.
Example of ifbb lowering standards in order to accommodate, go ahead and get the entire lineup a participation trophy.

Thor looks very thin now compared to before. he must have lost a lot of muscle as well. I believe that could be a big mistake when you're going against Eddie Hall. I believe Eddie Hall actually have added muscle the last few months. Eddie will crush him i guess..
Breon is shredded true but he lacks size. Infact alot of size. Getting a physique like Breon where one doesn't have have to focus much on size and just focus on staying shredded is not as impressive as what Chris is doing, Size + Vascularity.

Man all the hate on keone is a joke. He's barely started his career as a bodybuilder and is already smoking pro shows and snapping wins everywhere. He's got so much potential for the future, he's already qualified for an olympia. Everyone wants him on their team because he's that good. That meat head grind mentality of "7 days a week, chicken rice train eat sleep" is going to burn him out. He can come back another year and compete again. All these salty has-been pros who struggle to quality for state shows let alone the Olympia are jealous of his potential, that's why they're annoyed he's taking time off. Last thing we need is another washed up unhealthy bodybuilder struggling to hold it together. Keone should take all the time he needs.
