Wow great news I'm big fan of big ramy
Special invites were, are, and will still be in the future. Patrick should ask himself who deserve it more. For instance, if he was Olympia's sponsor or producer would he prefer himself or Big Ramy? Just think how many fans will Ramy bring and how many of them would come just to see Patrick.
So much "to be fair" in special invite segment it gave me Letterkenny flashbacks
On a serious note: if you wanted a fair, even playing field, why the heck would you choose bodybuilding. Special treatment is the basis of the sport, since the days of Arnold.

Fair is a place with pig races and elephant ears.
Rammy earned it by being who he is. Government lockdowns kept him from competing, otherwise he wins Spain and it's a non issue.
Life is not fair, Big Ramy deserves a special invite and it's awesome he got it. We now have a stacked Olympia.
I understand where Patrick is coming from, and I still have massive respect for him as a bodybuilder, but he's wrong here. Patrick's argument would make sense if Ramy competed and didn't place as high as he wanted, but that wasn't the case. Ramy was prevented from competing due to Covid, and the Olympia admins believed he would have placed high there and qualified either with the win or by points, and I agree.
Well it is an invitation. It is at the discretion of the sponsors and organizers. Cedric McMillen was given a special invitation for last years Olympia.
The difference between Moore and Ramy is, if Ramy competed in Spain, he would have qualified for the Olympia regardless because he would have either won the show or took 2nd qualifying him by points. The special invitation was warranted.
Patrick's points are pathetic, he should just try classic and then go back to basketball.
Based on what Calum's been through and the physique he has displayed after the genetics and hardwork/rebound. I absolutely believe he could if he sets his mind and motives straight compete as a pro in the Mr Olympia.
Big Ramy deserves this special invite. After all he is one of the best open bodybuilders on the planet and would bring in more fans/money etc. However if he like Cedric last year abuses this special invitations to not even come in atleast 90% top shape and look like a water balloon then he should not be so lucky. That being said I genuinely believe he could dethrone Brandon and even give Phil a run for his money if he comes in peeled like Hadi. Who knows.

Nothing against no bodybuilder but they should have never implemented the special invitation option as i think most bb have to work hard to earn a qualification for the olympia and some great bb are not qualified becoz of the rules and then one gets an invite by not have to qualify and gets the easy way in. But hey its my opinion
Callum needs to work on his back width and thickness then he can do more damage but he looks great
I love Calum Von Moger, but if you look at the pictures, look how he always hides that right quad. Still think he has a long way to go to get it back up to size.

People are upset about Ramy getting the invite because he’s been continuously disappointing in the placings, especially in recent years. Amazing guy, impressive physique to say the least, but when you’ve been touted as the future champion for this many years and you slip that hard, people have little sympathy for you. Had Ramy came in a little sharper at the Arnold, I think fewer people would be bothered. All that said, I’m stoked to see him compete 💪🏼
For the future of bodybuilding and the fanbase/ticketsale/hype online he brings, Ramy's special invite was the right thing to do.

Patrick Moore can screw right off.. the guy had more then enough opportunities to qualify and he didn’t. Ramy was not allowed to compete due to covid. Huge difference.
Awww Patric Moore is crying about the invention that Ramy got. He has been doing Mr O for years. The fans want to see Big Ramy no one is watching to see Patric Moore loose and not place the top 5. I hope Ramy places the top 3 or wins.

The inability for bodybuilders to understand that bodybuilding is not fair or merit based, and is a glorified beauty pageant baffles me. You have these guys talking about how hardcore they are, how they earn everything, then oil up to pose in thongs -_- There's nothing hardcore about it, get over yourself, whining because the more popular guy gets to compete at the beauty contest, that's all this is.
Come on the guy places 2nd before , he was willing to compete and earn his spot , and let's be honest here. He would have won it if he competed it was all because of Covid.
Adding to this people love him , and he is promoting the sport and the IFBB

Hadi is an Olympia gimmick. He doesn’t look good. He is too small. It’s impossible for him to win or place top 3 unless everyone else comes in FAT and he comes in shredded.
It seems that people always like to complain about rules when they can't take advantage of them.
