A special invite should be given because of his huge fan base. It's good for marketing. It's good for the sport. Period. End of discussion.

Brandon could easily win. Easily. There are so many stars coming this year that could win. I was rooting for Flex but that's not going to happen now. But Brandon is looking incredible with no apparent gut issues. That's going to be hard to beat.
Just goes to show how impressive both Thor and Eddie’s deadlifts were. Both moved with speed and held strong at the top.

Noone on the olympia stage would want ramy to get an invitation because they would have to share the placing with one more professional athlete which would propably have a placing in the top6
Let's look at the list of recent special invites: Flex Lewis, Flex Wheeler, and Kevin Levrone are all legends of the sport, Kai Greene's rivalry with Phil Heath is among the best ever and is a better and more popular bodybuilder than Ramy, and Cedric was deployed for the US army overseas and because of that couldn't compete. Ramy chose not to compete the entire season and there is no way he can be considered a legend or a legitimate rival of anyone
The Olympia is a joke now…… the Arnold is the gold standard
In a parallel universe, Kai is also on that qualified/invited list and it'd be the most stacked Olympia stage ever. Gonna be great regardless!

The Olympia needs to stop giving away these "free passes" to these bodybuilders.
This basically means that they haven't even made official rules for this. It's really just a mess. What's the point of having a points system if bodybuilders are simply going to be handed a free pass to compete in the Olympia.
Forget qualifying for it, just give away free passes to whomever you feel deserves it.
Come on People we know that ramy is waaaaay better than half of those guys on Olympia stage. Also people want ramy on Olympia stage so they can $hit on his conditioning and see if he will lose a kidney to please them

Big Ramy is one of the biggest crowd pullers. That's why he should get the special invite. To give us fans what we want to see. Period.
Nick, I respect Patrick’s comments and opinion on this. However, The Olympia is a business at the end of the day. And their job is to put the best lineup on stage they believe will draw spectators, which includes respectable pros outside of the points qualification. I understand the athletes side of it, but every business has the right to set their own standards even if they are unwritten and random.
Patrick Moore is just jealous and he’s not even big enough to compete at the O. Good points on ced and others receiving invites recently.

You are giving a special invite to someone who has a real chance of winning the show. You would be hurting the fans if Big Ramy wasn’t invited. If course a hater would say that because they wish they had a physique worthy of a special invite. Do something in the sport besides break the top 10 and maybe you will get one. We hav to always think whats good for the sport and whats is always good is that Olympia pulls a big crowd and to make sure of that is to bring the big names on that stage. So no one cant deny that Ramy is one those names.
You have three ways to get the Olympia: be a winner show, get points enough, and special invitation. Big Ramy participated of the biggest shows from this year, to get the qualification, he got good qualifications, but it’s enough to get the points needed. So, considering the special invitation is not math, but special criteria’s, yes, he deserved. European surely he would beat everyone, and be the third in the Arnold classic.

I'm NOT surprised at all that Patrick Moore would say what he said about Ramy ! It just comes across as weak & pathetic , i mean why shouldn't Ramy get a special invite ? Ruff D is SPOT ON about special invites and they're NOTHING NEW !!! Ramy has been SECOND at the MrO and MANY think he won in 2017 !!!
Big Ramy is a BIG DRAW…of course he should get it. It will boost ticket sales and PPV (if they have that) and definitely streams. Makes complete sense to offer a big name a free ride because ultimately it's a show and people would rather see an old favorite then some guy who came 10th.
Ramy deserves special invite 100% . He is a top bodybuilder for a long time not some new guy who has still to prove himself.

For my opinion Akim's victory was right,the confront was really close but aesthetically and muscularly Akim Williams,especially in front side and lateral side, was little better of Justin Rodriguez,only in back side Akim was little worst confront Rodriguez (rear double biceps 4:50 ) , this is my impression seen the video.
