Great timing on this to motivate me! Haven't run in several months and just told my friend I would do a half marathon with her, ACK!! Most I've done is a 5K nad that's been a while, but I have just over a year to build up. It's time to map out a plan!

I️ have never ran before, but I️ want to start. I’ve done a mile but only once or twice. But that’s it! I️ know this seems crazy for someone who has never ran but how long/how far should I️ run if after a few months I️ want a solid 7 minute mile! That is my goal! Even if it takes longer than I’d like I️ still want to know what I️ can do! Thanks!

Hi Katie 🙂 thanks for doing this video. I'm from South Africa, so we're heading into summer now. I've started trying to get fit again and back into shape for running for athletics season. But the problem is, I'm not able to run a lot. South Africa isn't the safest place to run around alone and my parents can't take me to the gym during the week. I'm only able to run 3x a week. What workouts could I do at home to improve my endurance and improve my running without having to actually run? Thanks
Thanks for sharing, as I like running over other activities. I train for half marathons and in the past full marathons. I have always struggle finding that balance with running and getting in my exercises for my abs and my arms and also my legs as running is just a forward motion and it only conditions certain muscle groups and I need to find that balance. Would love to see more videos or even a blog post on how to do it all and which days to do what. The most I like to run is 3 days a week now. Would love to hear your thoughts on what I should add in to my days training with running and the HBSG and of course the nutrition guide.

I'm currently stationed in Guantanamo Bay, and I'm headed to training to be a field corpsman in a few months. The school I'm going to is in Camp pendleton which means hiking up mountains as well as running. I've learned recently that the way I run will cause problems later and I'm currently trying to adjust to run on the balls of my feet. Do you have any advice on how to adjust this, or how to prepare for 7 mile hikes with a 50 pound pack?
By the way these videos have made me highly motivated and I just continue watching to see what else I can learn.
