Thank you – that was a great answer, very well-rounded and sensible! That's one of the things I really like about you – you are realistic and look at exercise, weight loss, etc. as a long-term lifestyle commitment. Burn out is a real factor and I thank you for your sane advice for staying fit!

I follow your schedule, and have had good results. I also walk my dogs a mile three times a week, and that has given me some additional toning. I try to be active throughout the day, although I do spend too much time on the computer!

Thank you for taking the time to make these videos and answer our questions 🙂 I'm definitely going to look at your schedule because I've lost 10 lbs this past month by doing your exercises. My own question though is how long do you recommend one should be on the treadmill because I know they say HIIT gets you fat burning results. So for example how long should the highs be compared to the lows?

I recently lost some weight, and it appears to have come out of my chest, Is there anyway I can loose weight from only my stomach? I decided to gain that weight back instead, but I am still unhappy with my stomach, however I would rather have a bit of stomach fat that loose a cup size.

How much water should I drink a day?  Can I drink TOO much water?  I work out about 60-70 minutes a day and burn around 700-800 calories and I drink close to a gallon of water a day.

I've heard that you should switch out days that you lift weights.  arms, chest and back one day.  Legs the next. Then arms, then legs, etc.  But with your workouts I seem to be working my entire body every day.  Is that okay?  Should I be taking a "day for rest/recovery"?

I have a question. I don't know how common it is but I'll give it a shot. Who is Yoga best for? Stretching feels amazing to me, but many yoga routines feel horrid. Cat-Cow, child's pose and such feel great; but other things like the oh so common downward facing dog I struggle through. Ballet workouts are great, as are 8th grade gym style stretching routines. I have read articles about how Yoga is not meant for all bodies, and can be really damaging. I know I should listen to my body, but should I be going to achieve in yoga as a benchmark, or do you agree with the theories that it's just not for everyone?

Hello Jessica! I may have a question for a future Q&A Wednesday… I love your yoga and pilates workouts but my joints and flexibility definitely need extra training in order to be able to do all the poses you go through. I know that using yoga blocks can help improve and build into more challenging routines. Could you perhaps tell us a bit more about the correct modifications etc? Thank you for your amazing work! 🙂

I love your weekly question and answer sessions. Using your monthly class schedules has helped me reach a new level of fitness…I am a huge fan and encourage others to subscribe to your channel all the time. My question for you is, have you considered creating workouts for people in their fifties or older? While I push myself with you daily, there is a vast difference being 55, with artificial knees, than working out in a much younger body! Thank you for helping so many of us become fitter & healthier!

Hi Jessica, thanks for all the hard work in putting these videos together for us!  My question is this; does the amount of time you spend exercising matter? For example – is it better to do longer workouts less often or shorter workouts more often? Thanks again from New Zealand!

I have a question!

If you skipped a day of working out, would doubling your time the next time you work out make up for that skipped day?

Jessica, on the monthly class lists sometimes there's a rotation where the day looks like it only calls for 15 minutes. If some of us notice we have to do a minimum of a half-hour to 45 minutes each and every day perhaps not an HI IT workout but we need to do something. Would you suggest if that's a 15 minute strength day we just add one of your walking workouts so it's more lower impact and moderate? Just asking

I listened to your question on reducing cellulite. I am 5'4", 105 # and have alot of cellulite on my legs, bmi of 19 and I do your workouts 4 to 5 times a week. Would a foam roller help minimize my cellulite? I need to fson weight not lose weight.

Hi Jessica, was told by my D.r. the reason I can't lose weight in spite of my efforts, is because I could have a low metabolic rate and to have "optifast shakes" (It is a replacement meal in Australia) for lunch and keep my breakfast and dinner as is.

How can I increase my metabolic rate? As I want to avoid the shake replacements.

Thanks

I agree with the mix of workouts each week,
I do total body cardio on Mondays
upper body toning -tuesdays
lower body toning-wednesdays
pilates- Thursday
cardio fridays
abs on Saturdays
yoga on Sundays
this seems to work for me,i feel great and I do not get bored or overworked
I do different videos each week ,but do the same types of exercises for each day
