But you gave me no choice i have to clarify few things.
If you really want to eat French food NEVER BUY INDUSTRIAL BAGUETTE ! 😉 it's à "Sacrilège" Yes i'am French and i have spectral X-Rays Baguette Eyes! so i can tell without a doubt the bread you sliced in the basket IS Industrial! too white, crispy look like shit, the "mie" is small and compact, thats means it's frozen bread with additives and bad flour.
I dont know in US or UK, but Frenchies can talk about food all time! for us the best food is not high lvl 3 stars restaurant, the most important is to eat LOCAL, FRESH and HandMade food ask for "Artisans" most of the time you have the guarantee it's good for health and good for your mouth!
One more things except the "viennoiserie" breakfast with the twist chocolat bread (i love it too) you chose the worst and the less significant french food 🙁 For a French Cheat day it's sad
at "Café" you eat indu choco ice … hum ok why not.
after the famous indus baguette bread and potatoes chips… (why potatoes chips… are they artisanal ?)

I like you a lot 🙂 so my advice look for real South French Food! give you some populars ideas:
Cassoulet, Boeuf Bourguignon, Aligot Saucisse! (best French cheat meal ever, Best are in Aveyron) Ratatouille, Confit canard, Foie Gras, Bouillabaise, a very simple Poulet fermier Roti, even Couscous is excellent and very popular in France, desert also, ask for Fraisier, Saint Honoré, Opéra, Baba au Rhum, Paris-Brest, Eclair au chocolat or Café, Millefeuille, tarts and many others delicious sweets cakes!
If you like our country, banish industrial food and go buy in Artisans Boulangerie, Boucheries, Poissonneries and "Fait maison" Restaurant mean hand made and local food.
