The way the guys are standing (side of weight being lifted)…, would they ACTUALLY be able to prevent the weight from crushing him? I always think, NO.

I use a Swiss bar to bench, I find it hits the muscles better. I had to use it out of necessity due to wrist pain
I have to bench without a spotter because whenever i ask for a spot at my gym and i grind out the last rep before im able to grind the guy yanks on the bar as soon as he sees me struggle.
Take that trip man I don't see any downside to taking it, new culture, new country, etc. Basically more knowledge

NO diet at all
training on my own, my program is:
day a:
5×5 bench press
5×5 squat (high bar/low bar)
then 1-2 complementary exercises for shoulders/ chest 8-10 rep range.
day b, 1:
5×5 weighted pull ups
deadlifts conventional, double overhand grip 2×5
1-2 complementary exercises for biceps / back (6-10 rep range)
day b, 2:
5×5 deadlifts conventional, double overhand grip
bodyweight pull ups 4×8-10
1-2 complementary exercises for biceps / back 8-10 rep range.
Monday: day a
Thuesday: day b 1
Wednesday: rest
Thursday: day a
Friday: day b, 2
Sat/ sunday: rest
Sometimes i do clusters, sometimes i do 5/3/1, sometimes i change 5×5 for 5×10 with lighter weights because i'm tired.
I almost don't do deloads.
My pr's are:
Deadlift: 130kgs (not good form at all)
120kgs with good form
Bench press: 92.5 kgs (with no pause, bad form)
90kgs (no pause, good form)
Squat: 105 kgs, parallel deep.
Pull up: at 65kg bodyweight, 32,5 added kgs.
