What do you guys think about the vacuum pose overall? Should it be mandatory in Classic? Mandatory in Open bodybuilding? Why/ Why Not? Comment Below!
1:45 wtf is going on with that ab and thigh on ramy is the editor being serious? xD
I think that the vacuum pose should be a mandatory pose, not for the reason that it looks good, but for bodybuilders to be able to control their midsection, we would have no bubble guts from that point onwards.
I don't think it should be mandatory, but defo deserves points if it looks good.

Who decided that you should not flex your abs in the abs & thigh? I can see a purpose for it in the FDB, but not A&T.
I do find the argument funny, that some bodybuilders have simply progressed too far in mass and muscle to be physically capable of hitting a vacuum, and then boom, Roelly out of nowhere.
The vacuum should be considered in the physique, but not made mandatory. Builders are still judged for having a detailed Christmas tree, for example, even though you can only really see that in the transition to the lat spread.
shouldn't be mandatory but it should be encouraged or incentivized.
Should be optional.
Go follow @Supersetman . He has a good channel.
Guys imagine to jean Pierre Fux doing the vacuum pose😏😏😏😏
Abs and thighs never looks good with vacuum
I think it's weird also because bodybuilders would exhale when hitting a crunched abdominal whereas they would inhale when hitting a vacuum.
Those all sucked
He could do a vacuum if he only knew better, Jay used to, but he tenses the mid abdominals which just makes the protrude even more
Phil's pic fooled me, ngl
I think the problem is that for a hands over head vacuum pose you pull your ribcage up, but most of these guys are crunching down for their abs and thighs. So just inserting a vacuum looks odd cause that’s not really how the pose works
The vacuum is a dumb pose imo, just makes you look like a holocaust survivor
I'm waiting on that dyson sponsor
Vacuum pose is not impressive looking
For bodybuilding to get it's respectability back🤔 the bubble gut needs to be scored low in the rankings 🤔
The abs and thighs pose looks strange because they look to be crunching down to show their abs but then he puts on a vacuum and then its weird because you know they are crunching down xd
Give the Superset Man his credit!
Brandon’s vacuum looks like Predator ha
pmsl jesus those abs and thigh poses look lethal i'd be shitting myself no where left for it to go
Lmao Phil ‘the gut’ Heath with a vacuum.. 🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂no way
Phil’s and rami’s looks so weird because they’re crunching for an ab and thigh. When you hit a vaccuum you don’t crunch down. If they leaned up it would look better
Where's the link to Supersetman
I think the photoshop made it look worse than it really would, looked like a crater in their gut. The pose isn’t for everybody regardless but some can definitely pull it off!
Zombies ate their guts
Looks like a zombie gorged on their guts, Nick's strength and zombie attacks
Yes to vacuum pose, can only assist in the keeping those midsection pixie tight
Mention hadi choopan natural vacuum pose
We already have a lot of big dudes hitting vacuum on stage, you should consider make another video showing this.. The vacuum pouse itself is amazing, the point is: open bodybuilding don’t have to do a “deep” one, like jay cutler for exemple, or even rolley
"Disturbing, it's very off putting" lol
Ramy doesn’t need organs
The vacuum pose in open bodybuilding 99% of the bodybuilders would definitely would not be able to do this pose that is for sure
Vacuum pose is ugly when doing abdominal pose not for every bodybuilder
Looks like a smashed wax sculpture
Nick, I think since Phil has lost some weight and fixed that gut better. He has potential on a decent mid section or vacuum pose
Don't forget Luke Sandoe! He had a very good vacuum and used it pretty much everytime he hit a front double bicep.
They can all git that vacuum if they lay off the insulin. Lol
