Let’s hear it for leg day – Whoop whoop! Targeting the legs and glutes in today’s HIIT style lower body workout. This series of leg exercises will set that lower body on fire! Create lean, toned legs and a strong powerful booty. If you need a little extra stretch after today’s sweat session check out this vid:
Breakdown: 2 lower body HIIT circuits 45s work + 15s rest x3 rounds each.
Equipment Needed: dumbbells, stability ball + exercise mat or other soft surface.
*Dumbbells are always optional. You can add them or remove them from any exercise. You do you! 🙂 Choose a weight that is challenging but allows you to perform each movement with control and correct form. This weight will be different for each individual! Ball size should be chosen based off of your height. I highly recommend using the ball as it provides additional core and stability work but you can always use a bench, ottoman or perform many of the same exercises on the floor.

Killer. Very hard. For two of the three rounds of jump lunges in the 2nd half did not use weights. I take pauses so the workout lasts for nearly 50 minutes. But great.

Back from a much needed break..W12D4 done & I never want to do it again 🤣 I'm so happy I could cry! 🙌🏻 I came across this one in our calendar workouts at the beginning of the year & couldn't complete it due to health issues. I finally did the whole damn thing. In my opinion…its definitely the worst one of the whole 12 week 🙈

Hi from New Zealand. I'm loving these workouts and this is my fav, if I keep this up I'll have killer legs. Think I might do this one once every week. Never sweated so much but then it is 32deg cel in NZ today. Thanks Heather
Finished today 💪 but it wasn't easy. Still I did my best. The jump lunges are what got the best of me. One more day! 🙌🏼
