SORRY FOR THE ABSOLUTE RANDOM UPLOAD TIME! WE ARE CURRENTLY IN SRI LANKA AND IT TOOK ABOUT 8 HOURS LEAVING THIS OVER NIGHT TO UPLOAD VIA THE CHIPMUNK POWERED INTERENET 🙂 Just happy there is any internet at all out here.
Anyway I hope this hits home with a lot of you guys because it took me a while to admit it myself BUT there is no shame in needing help with something, no shame in admitting you've been slacking. What would be wrong would be to NEVER do carry on running yourself into misery and possibly quit altogether!
No-ones perfect, we all falter but we are also capable of MORE!! #CREW

Thanks for the updates which are always real and not cosmetic in any way. Lainey is also fantastic for this and its funny how maybe you both don't realise how much you are doing for mental health in terms of showing that everyone goes through it at some point and loses motivation. Everyone has the monkey mind that wants to judge and ruminate. I am a mindfulness teacher and massage therapist and I teach children teens and adults in mindful strategies for just these bumps in the road.
Also its only natural after your grandad and dog that your emotions will be dragged down plum the house and drop in figures because of You Tubes poor business management. Thing is though, the 2018 prospects and ideas you have set out are so inspiring and solid with real meaning and good compassionate intent behind them that it makes you and Lainey stand out amongst all the others who can get quite plastic and boring.
There is something called Freytag's Pyramid which is something I teach at English GCSE (I have 4 careers I love) which is a very old formula which was used by Shakespeare and is used by all Film Directors today as it is just as relevant. All the heroes/heroines in a story are on a journey aren't they so they have to go through loads of personal mountains and challenges and reach a point of "is it all worth it?" before they can get to the epiphany of "ah that's what I am meant to do!" Try it with any film or good book.
You have now reached a point where you have said you want to give something back because you have reached an epiphany – just be aware that there are several of those to come which I found out through mindfulness teaching and training.
Most of my work now is just making enough money so I can feed my kids and treat them and then give something back through various compassionate projects. Looks like you and Lainey are there.
I am not a fluffy incense waving loo la, this stuff is neuroscience, mental health is massively important, you have a great platform, you do really good stuff. Go for it!

I often get depressed because i sant get that girl i love, right now she is in France and working, and im in Sweden, and the thing is i sant get over her i always Think of her i wanted to be with that girl for 2 years but it feels like ill never have the chance to be with her, i know id be the best boyfriend in the world, and i know i sound like a Little bitch, i have no problem going to the gym and eating anymore, i get out all my feelings on that but when its time to sleep i sant sleep so i just sleep 4-5 hours per Night but i need like 7-8 i work as a a scafolder and building all week lyftning all week and i am tirad all the time. and if you have any tips i would really appriciate it! have a Great weekend everyone! hope you all reach your Goas and feel good!

Well. NOW I’m really freakin’ motivated to push myself harder in 2018! I committed this year to drop some extra pounds. I’ve lost 32 lbs so … fab! But more room for improvement with my physique and even mental strength. I’m turning 45 in January and you just kicked this gal’s arse to turn things up a notch… or ten. It sucks for smaller channels like myself too but when it affects your life as much as yours, through income etc.. that sucks dude! Keep pushing through though and roll out that content for 2018! Thanks Lex , for a wonderful vid . You definitely hit the spot , with the winter blues . Staying motivated at this time of the year , is always a problem , for me . Having to get everything ready for Christmas , taking the boss , not only to appointments , but shopping for the pressies , takes a lot of my time from me . I miss the gym a few times and before I know , it’s been three weeks and I’m eating shit . Not anymore . Your vid has kicked me up the arse . I would like to see a podcast on training and diet , for the over 60s . I don’t know how many followers you have around my age . But I hit 60 in March and would love some guidance and inspiration . 2018 , bring it on . Norm.

I've just been wasting so much time lately on mindless entertainment, like chick lit and YouTube videos without any educational component or takeaway. At the same time I've stepped up my training, so I know that my body needs the downtime too, I just wish I could make it happen in a more productive way. As such, this video totally resonates. I've wanted to start a blog for a while and now maybe the time is right. That could be a productive outlet that doesn't feel like a huge time suck.

Its been a grey weekend. Feeling sick for a couple weeks and super tired so its bombed any gym time i get. Super fatigued, slept for at least 10 hours every day on the weekends and still dead tired, and being tired and sick has really made me question my training and what i am doing, weather its helping or hurting my progress. I started actual weight lifting about 10 months ago so i'm just trying to find what works for me and what routine works for me…Plus been feeling guilty about some past mistakes and someone i hurt, completely my fault. Stress just build up you know? Been putting work in to something you believe will make you better, just don't know if its the right road

I’m having shot loads of problems with my mates and I can’t deal with all the stress family has given me so I rarely find time to go to the gym as the most suitable gym is in the next town so if u was in my position what would u do baring in mind I’m like only 14

Loved this video and I am so excited for all your goals for 2018! I've been struggling with my own goals and what I want in my own life both career wise and personally. I also struggle every year with seasonal affective disorder, which is what led me to my fitness journey to begin with. You've inspired me to screw my head on and power through my winter depression and to set some goals that will really get me to enjoy life again. Thanks. 😊

We all lose Direction time and again, re-evaluating Goals, once or twice a year helps for me. Each person has there own drive and dedication to fitness and health. Also I started to add random affirmations to my training logs that I can read and recite to myself as I am training. It helps to keep my mind focused…. I will re-sculpt my body, I will improve my nutrition, because I never give up, I am the wicked GYM Beast ……

Diet plans for like people who struggle to put on muscle mass.  I'm your 6ft 7inch tall dude who can consume a lot of food and go to the gym 5 days a week and not see any gains as my motabalism is that high.  yes i have made some gains but nothing to be excited about.

The last month or so I have lost motivation too. When I was younger I was so active I barely had time for anything except sports and training as I left school got a job and had kids I just became everything I feared I would become. Fat, lazy and could barely do anything with my kids. So 9months ago I changed my lifestyle lost 3stone. Then hit a massive plateau and not been able to break it. I have tried more intensity in my training, tweaking my diet and still can’t break it! Over the Christmas period I certainly didn’t help myself. Anyway I have done so much homework on nutrition but I read so much conflicting information I don’t what to do anymore and I’m really struggling with it.
