If strength training is so important for size…why can I squat 500lb and still have no calves? EXPLAIN THAT ONE SCIENCE!

But seriously, if you want to grow your biceps…we need to do more bicep exercises. I want bigger biceps. It is time I do more bicep curls. mind blown

But volume is the key to strength too… maybe the rep range is lower. The only difference between bodybuilding and powerlifting is rep range & specificity. So for powerlifting you would want more specificity on the big 3, and less arm work and shoulder work. But in order to get stronger you ALSO need more volume, just like Jeremy Hamilton said, “whoever does the most work is going to get the strongest”.

Once I cut my exercise selection to less than five I started growing. I used to do over 25 exercises.

Come on man you should know better than that. I hope it was trolling, You have no calves due to genetics, that’s what science would say. Some people just get strong and don’t look great while others aren’t as strong but have better insertions and get size quicker. Smh lol

I think strength training builds really dense muscle. Which is why size doesn’t increase a lot past a certain point.

calves do plantar and dorsiflexion so unless ur doing those during squats they aint gonna grow.

Anyone else here have trouble hitting a 250 bench, but as soon as they hit it their gains exploded? I couldn’t hit 250 for a while, but once I hit it, I got to 265 in 1/4 the time it took me to go from 245 to 250
