Hi loves! I’m proud to share my keynote speech from the PoWer Up Women’s Conference with you at today. This is something I’ve wanted to share for years.
For so many years, I was ashamed and embarrassed by my past. But as I’ve grown as a human and strengthened my self-esteem and my voice, I have found that PERFECTION IS A PRISON. So stand up with your shoulders back and your head high to the sky and OWN that your past has created the beautiful being that you are. Your STRUGGLES are your STRENGTHS.

Thank you for sharing, I love how open and vulnerable you are. You're also brave for getting up in front of all those people and sharing such personal history of yours. You are an inspiration for all women. Tip: listen with headphones in a quiet space and you can hear this video just fine 🙂

For so long I felt a connection with Karena that I couldn’t explain, even if we didn’t know each other. Thank you Karena for sharing your truth and opening up to us. You are such an inspiring woman. Thank you for sharing your story! It takes bravery to be so honest and open. Your story may not be what people call perfect but you have brought yourself from the lowest of lows to being where you are now. That is inspiring!!

Incredible strength! Speech was very moving, and I normally only feel emotion seeing dog videos 😉 I took the advice to listen with headphones in quiet space and could hear ok (I'm native English speaker though, probs easier). Thanks for sharing Karena 🙌
