This total body strength training session that uses one of my favorite pieces of portable, inexpensive gym equipment – a resistance band! Traveling? Be sure to toss your band in your suitcase – this routine is easy to do in a small space in your hotel or at home. Don’t have a band? Feel free to sub in dumbbells if you prefer.
In this full length workout video, we’ll be focusing on multi muscle moves that help keep your heart rate elevated to make the most of of this short, but sweaty, session. I’ll show you options throughout the workout so you can make the moves work for you and adjust to your current fitness level as needed.
Level: All
Intensity: Moderate
Equipment: Resistance band (or light dumbbells)

I enjoyed working with this equipment! This 20 minutes were quick! 🙂
Feels Great! Thank you Jessica!
I do not have this equipment. this is my routine tomorrow. 😢
Great workout Jessica!
Day 2 in the books!I had to ease up today since I did a kettle bell workout yesterday that was all new to me! My muscles are screaming! but, I really liked this workout and next week I'll be able to put my all into it! Those waddle walks proved interesting! New & different! Sassy is scared of the band…. Probably a good thing!
Day 2 done!
Deceptively challenging. But hey, that's a great thing! Just what I needed to test my growing strength. Ty, Jessica. <3
thank you jessica ivr been a follower since way way back the walking challenges and zumba with your mom. you make fitness so easy.
As always – wonderful! <3
Thank you for sharing this video. Can you share what kind of bands you use? Either I'm not very strong, or the ones I bought aren't long enough to do the over-head pulls. I always love the Peanut cameos. 🙂
Day ✌🏻 complete 🙂
Ok so I cheated and started watching another vlogger LOL, not for any particular reason other than wanting some variety….and I realized that you provide so much more instruction, and I really like that! The "rah rah" from others is good at times, but because I exercise at home and have some limitations, the specific how to's, modifications, reminders (and water breaks!!) that you provide us are SO invaluable! It's also easier to find exactly what I'm looking for on your channel, especially when I'm pressed for time, so thank you for that as well! You rock!
@jessicasmithtv do you sell dvds
Day 1 & 2 back to back is awesome! Tomorrow day 1 & 3 together. My arms are shaky right now!
great workout
I enjoyed this workout. I felt there was a little too much focus on workouts that used the shoulders. I hope your other workouts get me sweating like this one!
Day 2 done. I'm not sure why but I always find strength training with a resistance band so much harder than with dumbbells. I really liked the move at 9:50 today, I could really feel my core working to keep me straight. Most of the moves were really hard for my arms and I could only do a few repetitions of each. I'll have to come back to the 4 week version of this plan later, it'll be great to measure my progress, for now there are just too many other workouts/plans that you have done that I wish to try first. Thanks for all you do and see you tomorrow.
this was a wonderful workout
Jess ur awesome, thanks for all your work outs
I have always loved your videos! Thank you so much!
I love your music! And I really found this workout great for me even though I had no band at hand.
Great workout
Did not expect to sweat doing a 20 minute strength workout but WOW did I ever! Challenging workout! I would love to know what size bands you use because mine were definitely too short for a couple of moves.
Enjoyed this but it was definitely tougher than I expected as my resistance band is much shorter than Jessica’s. However, it definitely provided my Upper Body with the challenge it needed today. I really like the variety of using both my weights and resistance band. Thanks Jessica this one is a new one for me. I am surprised I haven’t done it before but it will now go on my regular rotation.
Love your resistance band workouts…PLEASE MAKE MORE…you rock
You are so awesome!! Excellent teacher!
Good morning Jessica! Thanks so much for that Travel Tip! I am glad I did this a few days before I travel. I like to keep up my morning routine. You are so appreciated!! Hugs to Peanut too!
