This trip was such a blast and I'm so happy I could share it with you. Thank you so much Jeff and John for being the best Newfie tour guides I could possibly ask for ❤️🙏 These are a few food highlights from my 8 day trip, and I know I probably missed a ton of Newfie dishes, but I will definitely be back! If you’re unfamiliar with Newfoundland, it's a beautiful place and I highly recommend visiting if you ever get the chance. Enjoy the video and I will see you soon! Love you guys! 💋

All that food looks so bland and uninteresting. Points for trying to make it seem exciting but this doesn't reflect well on true Newfoundland eats.

It’s honestly so refreshing to see someone eating Newfoundland food without acting grossed out about it. I’m literally a vegetarian so I don’t eat 80% of NL traditional food but a lot of people stick their nose up at the food and it always hurts my soul just a bit.

You missed out on Dicky’s!! Best deep fried fish found on Bell Island and Ziggy’s awesome fries 😭 hard to miss there truck near the harbour in St. John’s or near the bars in the evenings close to George St. also the Waterwitch in Pouch Cove, amazing burgers and massive wraps (also the chicken and poutine wrap which is a delicious gut-buster) a must go to also it’s new-fin-land not new-Finland or new-found-land 🤣🤣

This video made me laugh so hard. My Husband is from Newfoundland, so I could relate a lot to the feelings about the foods that you tried. I was not a fan of the donair sauce. When I tried it, my reaction was exactly like yours. But their jigs dinner and poutine…OMG…I love it SO much!! I've never eaten so much poutine in my life!!
