I really want to try and stick to keto/carnivore style diet as mentally I feel so much better. But my performance if I go boxing Is f**kin disastrous 😔 less energy only during training , tire quicker and not as explosive

I did high fat 8 years i grew on it but very hard (high carb around training only) in the end i got back to high carb because high fat reeaally slows down your metabolism and it hurt my test levels… back on high carb hormones through the roof and i can run a marathon every morning… i do agree fat is more satisfying and energy level more stable but i do feel its unhealthier in the long run

HA! I also do dark chocolate hobnob-fueled training!! So funny to actually come across someone else acknowledging it. Hahaha!!
I'm in Canada and literally seeked them out specially (I used to live in the uk).
Honestly even on days I don't plan to workout, if I'm sitting around and eat hobnobs or dark choc digestives, I generally find myself getting in a cheeky workout because I've apparently programmed my subconscious to associate the two things together 😂😂
I also find i train better and lift heavier, when I've been snacking, possibly due to my brain just being HAPPIER… because… CHOCOLATE AND HOBNOBS!! :p

Ps I also love and prefer when things are less polished and more real and raw. YouTube/social media and the ppl on it, always being so polished, shiny and edited, tends to gross me out. (This is also why I love / prefer nature and things that are natural). I get that things have their place but I also prefer real actual things vs pretend and that which seems to be.. so yeah yet another reason this is one of my favourite YT channels <3 you're super awesome :3 well done, good sir!!
