3 reps? I think that's an indication to drop the weight.
no thats not always true. if ur goal is to be a bodybuilder then yes- he should drop the weight and go for 8-12. if ur goal is to be stronger he can increase the weight even more and just do a single rep. it all depends on what ur training for. strength training and bodybuilding are not the same thing. few reps = more strength less size. higher reps = more size less strength.
