Exercises that compress your spines do stunt growth, but exercises that don't put too much strain on joints or your back are very good for you.

I'm 178 cm but almost everyone in my class (except the girls and 2 boys) are taller than me. I don't mind that much because you can't change your height

if you boys need to get ripped rapid without spending a one extra minute in the gym, then you should check out this online video SIXPP.COM

You and your family now live in a world that demands that you pay attention to it instead of just existing in it.

Dont weight lift until you have fully grown at least around 18. It can stunt your growth spurt too.

I am 14yrs old 5"6 in height am i consider short or normal? I've been working out since i was 13yrs old and i seemed to stop growing ever since i started weight lifting. Is there any chances where i can still grow? If there is, can you guys give me some suggestion on how i can grow taller faster? Thanks.

I'm pushing 6'1 at 14 years old (6.05) and i started at 13 and i was 5'11 when i started, so i grew about 2 more inches WITH lifting weights. Its all genetics. If you start lifting and you're 5'7 when you start and you stay 5'7 is probably because you have short parents.

I'm 5'9, and I'm 15 years old, many people say I'm tall, but truthfully I feel short, before when I was a younger I wanted to be 6'7, now I'll be completely satisfied if I grow to be at least 6'3.

Dude you can stunt your growth you put a certain amount of pressure on the groin area. That pressure can elicit an groin hernia. You should lift light weight or strength train otherways like the sled for kiddies like me.

Just a tip from a qualified individual in this area. If you are considering weight training while still an adolescent, start off with body weight exercises first for a few months at least if you are not already leading an active lifestyle and when you do eventually get into weight lifting avoid heavy weight over head if you're 21 and below. Lifting weight over head (shoulder presses, Olympic lifting etc.) compresses the spine and by doing this consistently while still growing (males stop growing at 21) this can in fact stunt growth.
