Does building muscle also reduce the amount of fat you have in your chest? I'm aware that there is no such thing as spot fat reduction but does it help? I also heard that for every pound of muscle you gain you loose a pound of fat *as muscle requires calories to maintain thus using calories from fat* Anybody can give me a straight up simple answer would be very much appreciated.

Here's what I did back when I was 15, it was effective but at the same time, I didn't put myself in danger of hindering growth. I made 3 sets of alternating bicep curls, each set had no limit, i would keep doing it till i couldn't lift anymore, 40 sec break between each set. Then 3 sets of Arnold press for shoulders, same as above. Then I did the push ups mentioned in this video here. Keep in mind the weights I used were relatively light so as to not to hinder growth.
