Excellent Video Scott.Give Brian my sincere thank you. I am not diabetic but this was very helpful in general. Looking forward to more videos. BTW, Love the T-shirt.
good video 🙂
Great job explaining all the aspects of Diabetes that are vital to those who have Diabetes and want to live a healthy life including exercise! It was awesome meeting you Brian, I really enjoyed working with you!
Well done. Information benefits all.
Perfect video scott im glad you took time to discuss this.
Looks like a good vlog, Sad no CLOSED CAPTIONED for the Deaf people. Not an accessible video!
Awesome video! My 8 year old nephew is diabetic and he's starting to get into sports, it was nice to get a little more background information on being an active diabetic! Thanks Scott and Brian
Nicely structured interview to get the info out there. Nice job.
this is awesome Scott!! these types of vids are informative and it's great that you are branching out from physical exercise and discussing different types of bodily ailments (not necessarily going into anything too deeply medical) and telling us / showing us the benefits of exercising and what it can do for our bodies to keep us healthy and etc. Thanks for this!!
Ooo, you have your shirt on. :p
I'm sorry… i really hated Brian's explanation of diabetes… =/
That shirt is terrible. Get a new one.
good information! I hope that you had a great b-day!
Scott do you anything to take care of your skin or do you just have good genes?
Good job Scott and Brian. I wish every youtuber would watch this video. It is such valuable information.
omg your wearing a shirt!!! hahaha
scott, can i just say.. you're such a good person.. putting all these important vids up just for our information. i've learned so much from you.
PS next time u have an interview, the camera man should just keep the camera pointed at you =)
Awesome video man I like these interview type videos
Excellent video and information. I am a type II diabetic who takes no medication. I control myself with diet and exercise. Thank you very much for the information.
derp. i could have read you a better passage from a text book
go scott!
hey scott this is totally off topc with this video but i didnt know where else to go to ask you this question. do u think the total gym is a good machine to use for a workout? we have one here at my house and i was just wondering your thoughts about the total gym? thanks again for all the videos!!!
Really? So it's it like the Paleo diet. Is it a long term thing? Because it sounds like it's a management tool, diabetes isn't curable but it is the most manageable disease, i can guarantee that if the person goes back to old habits the glucose would shoot right back up. where can i find the video sounds like something i can suggest to some willing patients see if it can help the manage the disease.
alright thanx man. I'll check it out
scott thank you so much for posting this videos I always wanted to learn about that its runs in my family so im gald. I like wacthing your videos I learn so much from you, Your an awesome teacher.
Hi guys, I´ve been diabetic for almost 12 years now. What I have learned in all this years is that training at the gym makes me feel abs great. My sugar levels are low, my HbA1C is perfect and what makes me feel very confident is that more I train, more I feel one of the rest. Insulin help me but Diabetes is more about your brain. So get out of the coach and run. Great video, thanks for posting this.
wow thanks for the vid, its really interesting…im scared of getting it cause my mom has it, its scary stuff…
The Number 1 tip i can give u as a type 1 diabetic is ALLWAYS have higher then normal glucose levels in your blood, one time i didnt… i passed out…Not funn..
What is that…gay sky.
A major cause of diabetes (2) is obesity and physical inactivity, which is a fact for a lot of americans.
For many people therefor, the conclusion is: get of your but, get a decent diet (good balance between protein, fat and carbs), make your own food instead of going out for dinner so many times (also saves you a lot of money) and start a light workout by just walking or taking the bike more often (instead of the car for short distances), build the intensity up carefully etc.
@GamerzFun your not diabetic …?
@num1ubernacht Ummm I am?
@GamerzFun why would you tell people to go around with high blood sugar then …? the way you are talking about diabetes makes me wounder if you are , like one thime i didnt … i passed out ….? this is a a wierd way of saying it …. what were your last hba1c's
@num1ubernacht Right i made that comment 7 months ago and what i meant whas having HIGHER BS level in your blood during Exercise
my blood pressure is 110. Is that too low for 35
You inject a healthy person with insulin you will give them a hypo and cause permanent brain damage/ kill them!
@vrklida yeah. When i was working out hard to make muscles my senior guys did not tell me about this method. btw! i just had to laugh its what i've been wanting for years I went straight out and got the whole set. just follow what video is saying to you here: bit.ly/Ks5mty?=oqdtbp
That info is extremely novice level.
Any diabetic who has been a diabetic for just a week knows that.
It's extremely hard to get more in-depth info about bodybuilding with diabetes.
For example is it true that you get several times more effect if you take protein on a mild hypoglycemia?
