i have regular dumbells with screw on collars.makes it harder to get behind your head! cant afford to have fixed weights at home.

I see a couple people like scott hitting 100+ but most people at my gym I see doing it are using 50s-60s and have equally as huge triceps

if he can do 125 with clean form like that for one rep he can do 110-115 no problem for 10 reps
Don't "throw it down" it bends the damn handle, fuck head pretty boys like this guy have bent all the heavy dumbells from fucking throwing them down. IF YOU CAN'T PUT IT DOWN PROPERLY YOU ARE USING TO MUCH WEIGHT.

I'm 17 and I can do the 130lb for 15 full easy brizzy reps.
The fun part is when you go for that extra rep and don't get it
and now you have it stuck behind your head…

I worked up to 95 lbs and that was the heaviest I could bring up to my knee and then get up as shown at the start of the video. I built up to 12 reps with that but then wanted to go to 100 lbs. I knew I had enough strength to do reps with it but I could not bring it up to my shoulder.
So I asked help from a young, big guy ( I am 5' 8" 160 and age 70).
He set the weight on my shoulder and I was able to do 10 reps with the 100.
That was a lifetime record.
I have not yet tried the technique in this video but now that I know about it I will give it a try in case a helper is not around.
