this is damaging your Knee and health seriously only. this kind of sprint does not even burn any fat and decreases your workout quality and may cause even heart attack. Especially if you do this at the end of your workout its highly risk, due to the over loaded cardio vascular system . you just burn all the ATP ( fuel) in your muscles in a short time and cant even afford the needed Oxygen ( human beings do not include Turbocharger) . Heart is also a muscle and needs energy and oxygen. soccer player or even basketball players do not sprint non-stop that long time. just walk at speed 6km/h for 30 minutes .

I've used the same model cybex treadmill and the limit is 19.8 not 12.4

I thought I was fit for running 2.95 km in 12 minutes recently (almost 15 kph the whole way). Then I set the treadmill at 19.3 kph today, and I suspect that I was off the machine before it even reached full speed lol
whenever running on treadmill 1% incline is needed to simulate outdoor perfect conditions, 1,5% moderate conditions and 2% incline for it be slighty tougter than outdoors. Anyway 1% incline is usually whay should be set..and it makes 12,4mph/19.8kph almost a mile faster, makes difference. Good job!
