having rehabed both of my shoulders from torn labrums and rotator cuff tendonitis id advise against doing anything that causes u pain. the burn u feel from exercise and pain should be understood to be two completely different feelings. pain isnt ok. a burn or soreness is ok.

So do this daily Scott or every time I go to the gym like 4-5 times a week?

Thanx Scott! had a shoulder injury since 2006 and only when i started benching with straight bar in 2014 did i feel that this injury still needs to heal or my workout was to intense for a starter.

Watching this rehab clip while at work now has helped release pain from left shoulder joint.

Hi! I have not gone to the doc just yet but my injury does not hurt anymore, in fact only hurt the first day. I gave my shoulder plenty of rest with ice and flanax and worked good. But I have noticed that cracks a bit when I do certains movements with 0 pain. Is that normal? Thanks for your great video btw.

Thanks so much.  I have been doing this for only three days and I am already noticing a difference.  I had a tendon strain at work about two months ago and I had reduced range of motion. Thanks again.

Just to make sure, before I even attempt these exercises I should completely lay off for 2-3 weeks, correct?

My left shoulder's upper joint hurts when I do Lateral raise. It's like cramps with pain. I can't lift the dumbell to my shoulder height. Does these exercises heal it ?

Thanks so much for this video! REALLY has helped my shoulder pain.  I strained my left shoulder from doing bench press, maybe not doing the correct form.  Arm wrestled with friends on a drunken night out made it worse. Thank you so much.

Thanks for the tips, I have an impingement in my right shoulder, after an extended brake from the gym and a few physio sessions I'm ready to get back into it. Quick question though: how often should I do these exercises? Every day?

Thank you Scott….I appreciate your repeating that we're not trying to build muscle, just repair and injury. I will start doing these a few times a day and hope that I'll see a healing in the next few weeks.

Looks like I found the right instructional video. I have a fresh injury and plan to watch this video daily until I have learned all of the techniques, and until my mild injury is healed. Thanks Scott! I have subscribed.

Your manner and instruction is flawless. Thank you. I am getting over an injury and was about to make the mistake of training to hard right off the bat. I followed your movements with no weight and already felt a little burn. Outstanding.

Thanks so much. i was re-assured to hear there should be a little pain. I was having trouble distinguishing between a good/deep stretch (hurt-so-good) and actual 'pain' (whatever that is). I'm still a little worried i might be aggrivating/injuring the area but it seems to be getting better.
I'm working my left shoulder to repair a long-in-the-works guitar injury (repetitive strain that one day tensed-up my whole shoulder). Question: is it normal that the shoulder joints will crack a little when doing these exercises/stretches (just my left shoulder, not right) and are those the 'cracks' that will be gone once the shoulder is healed?

Awesome video @ScottHermanFitness! It's really helping my shoulder. Have you every had trouble with wrist/forearm tendentious? Do you have a video on nursing/strengthening the tendon during recovery? It would be subscription worthy if you have or would do a video on strengthening/recovering from wrist/forearm tendentious. I can only find videos on stretches and massages:(

Does this help with impinged shoulder? I'm working on correcting my posture (ATP) and want to know if I should do these after the posture is corrected or do them at the same time. Pain from impingement has gone away but if I were to press the pain will come right back. Thank you.
