I have found that light weight squats with high repetitions are good, but heavy weight MAX-OT sets on squats are terrible for the knees and back. Just think of all that spinal compression. Plus, your lower back is taking a lot of weight whether you like it or not, for that's simply what the squat form demands, you gotta lean over, that's the problem. And your knees have a lot of forward pressure on them, strains the caps and the muscles/tendons around them – not good.
Stay away from squats for massive leg gains, stick to Leg Press, which has seriously worked excellently for me. You have good form, Scott Herman, but please, re examine the philosophy of "squats are the foundation of leg strength", that's a myth – they're simply not. Heavy weight squats are the foundation for injury – no matter how proper the form.

The other day I was following your deep squat and front squat routine and it was going pretty well but I felt like I was almost about to black out after I was done (I did about 6-8 on each set because I'm underweight and I'm going for mass). Do you ever feel light-headed and am I doing something wrong? I'm 22.

I have to leave a comment/compliment. I just did this workout last night at the gym plus your chest workout. I'm feeling it everywhere,while I was doing it I was saying to myself these deadlifts feel like nothing but a back workout. Crazy workout bruh. Keep it up!!!!

Pretty neat when I watch some of your old workout videos. I know the Scott today wouldn't workout like this. This workout is okay, just too many exercises in my opinion.
