would it be a good or bad idea to foam roll the same muscle you just worked out?

example: foam roll lower body on leg day

or does it not matter at all?

because isnt that pump your getting all the extra blood flow to your muscles whats helping you get bigger?

Wow, thank you very much for the video!! I got a question though, when to foam roll your muscles?? After your work-outs? On rest days when you don't work out at all??
And is it important that your muscles are warm when you roll??

Some suggest lower back rolling isn't safe, what's your take?

I want to roll it along with everything else to help recovery from deadlifts and squats.

Actually you cannot achieve a myofascial Release with a foam Roller. What you do get is a so called sponge effect.

I get stiffness in the glutes and the legs the day or two after doing a full leg workout. So I made the commitment to learn myofascia release at the gym and I find that it works. Just finished watched the video brush up on the foam roller techniques.
