Scott, im a huge fan, and have made mad gains following your advice. That said, this excersize is bull, you dont have to hold a strap to do bodyweight squats :s

The way you describe it, it sounds more like they're normal bodyweight squats with the TRX only being there as a safety measure to prevent you from losing your footing or balance.

I am going to say that this TRX does NOTHING for this squat. Can't possibly see why anyone would need it unless they are afraid of falling backwards?!? TRX is cool, but not for this.

The straps are loose so there's no purpose for them !! It's the same whether you're using trx or not this is not helpful. It only helps to hold your leg while doing lunges. Or If you're a beginner and afraid to fall back.

That is 100% not the correct way to do a trx squat. TRX is designed to counterbalance your movement, so the straps should have full tension the whole time. Sorry man this isnt right at all
