Is this just not an alternative to a goblet squat? But allowing you to handle more weight I suppose then a single dumbbell?

Looks like a great alternative if you don't have access to a squat rack but like the goblet squat, it's going to be limited by how much you can lift to chest level. Could it be progressed using lighter weights with pause reps or 1 1/2 reps? Cheers, great stuff Scott.

Should open your arms up more so your shoulders don't round as much though. You really want to keep your shoulders back and squared as much as possible. Just a tweeking tidbit I guess.

How do these compare for quad building? Regular barbell back squats didn't help my quads grow at all, I had to do lunges and squats with a plate under my heels and still don't have the quads I want
