Getting fit utilizing a treadmill has never been easier! Just because you are not outside doesn’t mean you can’t incorporate some amazing dynamic exercises to help you burn that unwanted fat! Pace yourself during each exercise, especially if you have never run on a treadmill with the incline maxed out before. Be sure to keep track of you speed for each exercise so you can push yourself harder the next time to do this routine!

(0:24)- Routine Sets & Reps
(1:33)- Warm-Up
(1:46)- Mountain Climber (1 minute)
(2:02)- Incline Run (2 minutes)
(2:14)- Ab Wheel Walk (1 minute)
(2:30)- Incline Run (2 minutes)
(2:47)- Side Shuffle (30 seconds per side)
(3:08)- Incline Run (2 minutes)

NOTES:
• Challenge yourself with the MPH. Go as fast as you can while still maintaining control during each exercise. Push yourself to the limit!
• Keep the treadmill on the MAX incline

well, if you actually paid attention I clearly said that in order to make the video shorter I was going to run two treadmills so that you wouldnt have to wait for the machine to go to a full incline and then back to normal every other set.

Watch your mouth an show some respect.

It's EASY to "think" it is a pointless workout. Now go try it and then give an opinion after your have burned some serious calories.

Should a fat person lift weight or do cardio, or both?

Reply
DarkNature85 January 31, 2013 - 9:35 am

both, the more muscle mass you have the more calories you burn (you increase your metabolism).

It's okay. Im sure of i can find another routine of yours that is just as good as this one (if not better). 🙂

And again; Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us. You should just see how much my body transformed with the help from your videos. THANK YOU SO MUCH SCOTT HERMAN! #HTH

Ok why is this Scott's fault? Obviously some of the people checking out his channel are interested in faster paced (and tougher) work outs. Why do I have to be stuck running like every other person the same way at the gym? This is innovative and it burns a shitload of calories man. I understand there are safer alternatives but obviously some people UNDERSTAND that there is a risk involved. You are dumb dude 🙁

Hey dude :), first off not fat – – – try big boned! Second you will want to do a mixture of both. However! You do want to lift weights first to get some muscle on your body, this will help boost your metabolism and burn your fat way faster *you will see results quicker when you go to train cardio* after the weight is manageable.

Man Scott, you are the chillest guy ever dude! Thanks again! I wish you could come workout with me and my friends and just show us all the craziest exercises. I was wondering if you could maybe do some stuff for rugby training? 🙂 🙂 I know dead lifts, squats, cleans are all good but any other ideas?! 🙂

I like the attempt at trolling, 8/10 for effort. Do this if you like I don't care lol, just 90% of gyms would kick you out for improper use of equipment, You got a treadmill at home by all means go ahead, burn your damn calories 🙂

It would be better if you could reverse the treadmill roller for mountain climbers. I will try this tomorrow at the gym though.

Scott's running out of ideas and he made this dumb video, hes not getting paid to make dumb videos. Im going to try this at Golds gym and then fly on a unicorn!

I like the creativity since running normally on the treadmill can be brutally boring, I wouldn't recommend doing this at the gym though haha Plus it's kind of dangerous.

I have a question Scott: I joined Weight Watchers in Nov 2011 and stopped Nov 2012 (I lost around 45 lbs). SO now I'm at about 185 (I'm 5'7). So now I'
m focusing on turning my weight into muscle. I have a great workout routine (my frat bro is a personal trainer). BUT I constantly struggle with the amount that I eat. I'm told protein and food is the best way to develop muscle with your plan but I'm so nervous I'm going to gain the weight back. Any advice or knowledge you can give me?

could you please make a work out for mommy pouch, I am in great shape but i have that little bit of stubborn fat in my lower abs that is driving me nuts, i eat healthy, work out up to twice a day, 6 days a week, I have tried countless abs work outs but nothing, I don't want to pop them out, I want them in, I don't know if my abdominal muscle got separated during pregnancy, probably they did and a tummy tuck is not in my budget. I will really appreciate if you could help. Thanks.
