hey, great video. but why is it so important to bow the ellbows? Is it better for the links or what? I mean I can use much heavier weight when bowing them.

Looking at this because I haven't done any in years and need a refresher… Scotty the way you have your chest raised and flattened looks more like a flat flye. Kind of like how you see some people in gym doing incline bench with there arse so far up its basically a flat bench.

I've read a lot about how these DB flyes are really bad for you and don't increase your strength much at all. My shoulders used to hurt after weights but now they don't after I removed the flyes. Your thoughts?

God that accent is horrible to hear.
I recommend not going up all the way until your elbow joints lock. What that does is takes the tension off your chest and places it on your triceps.
When i do this exercise i mainly feel my shoulders working and fatiguing. I also always make sure the dumbbells are over my chest and not my neck or face. What could it be that I'm doing wrong?
How much should the bench be inclined? I heard 30-45 degrees?
