So basically Kitty stayed awake for a week hemorrhaging blood while Wolverine traveled around the United States in 1970 trying to stop Trask? Something doesn’t seem right! But if you can just overlook that small detail, and a few others, it was a pretty bad ass movie!

my favorite Character in the X-Men Day of Future Past is the young Magneto

Did you catch that quicksilver tells Magneto
"My mother knew someone that could do that" isn't Magneto quicksilver's father?
And I think that's Maddy Prior(who Cyclops falls in love with) not Jean Grey, basically a genetic clone created by Mr. Sinister(which I think leads to Cable being conceived). Of course this is speculation and I'm assuming all of this. Can't wait to see this play out! Can't wait to see Cable! He's the key to beating apocalypse.

I don't think the big black trask from the last stand is the same trask as the little white trask from the last stand because in that timeline mystique killed little white trask in 1973

I didn't love the movie, I liked it, but every review I've seen makes this movie flawless and no movie is flawless. I'm glad that this review had some good criticism.

We're supposed to believe that Mystique was kidnapped, experimented on, and killed in the 60s/70s. Yet X-men 1, 2, and 3 take place afterwards, and Mystique is alive and free.

Also, why did Wolverine have to stay in the past as long as he did? As long as he warned everyone about the sentinels, that alone would have had a huge impact on history and would have changed xavier's/erik's/mystique's actions enough to possibly prevent the war without Wolverine.

The way the ending of Future Past works basically is they erased X-Men Origins and X-Men the Last Stand from the continuity. His origins are different since Mystique being Striker found him instead of Striker approaching him.
Im pretty sure Apocalypse is the original Mutant.

Apparently there was supposed to be a fight / rescue scene to save Rogue and bring her in to take Kitty's powers and replace her after she'd been injured. That whole plot point was cut though, which is why Rogue's only in the film for 3 seconds.

It should be on the DVD as a deleted scene for anyone interested.

it was Sunspot..Pyro can only control fire not create it.  I know in Xmen Legends 2 I got introduced to Sunfire who doesn't use fire but instead radiation, and he can ignite things and use his power to fly with.

It was such a good movie but it had so many holes in the plot. when did Kitty develop the telepathic ability to send minds into the past? then they go back to the 70s and i know there were no walkmans available in 1973 just like there were no cassette tapes to play on them. also they mention DNA research. DNA profiling wasnt developed till the 80s. today every show, book or movie mentions DNA as a plot device, but in the 70s its unknown. its like fingerprints being used in a sherlock holmes mystery to catch the villian. it was an unknown method at the time. the ending to the movie was basically a reset button like the new star trek series of movies. to erase the past mistake of killing off popular characters, anyway thats for your videos. they have been working wonders for me

I really want to see this, but I doubt I will until it's released on dvd. I just want to know how Professor X survived. No real explanations anywhere. I felt like a nerd trying to search for it for 20 minutes lol. Scene after credits show him waking up in his brother's body in the third movie I think. but I didn't know if that was for real.

Havoc is cyclops' brother, cable is their father, hopefully he'll be in the next one considering it's about apocalypse. Michael Fassbender played young magneto, I think he was the best thing about this movie and first class, he's a phenomenal actor. Also have you ever watched the 90s X-Men cartoon "X-Men the animated series" it's one of the best incarnations of X-Men and they do a days of future past story line which is really good

white people sure love dogs……not that everyone doesn't. but their are so animate about the concept of dog ownership to the point that if someone else who has a dog doesn't treat them to their standard (extremely high) they get aggressive toward the owner.

Ok im a workout freek but im also a comic geek (gotta put that on tshirt! lol)

U asked about profesor X so here it goes:
AT start of 3rd xman movie Profesor X teaches students about  morality of using braindead persons body with telepathic abilities.
After credict scene in taht movie shows that he wakes up at hospital in his braindead brother body.

BTW in comics he had TWIN SISTER – Cassandra Nova.
Juggernaut isn’t his brother its his brother in law.

It washy Pyro it was Sunfire

Havok is cyclops YOUNGER brother in comics

About Wolverine drowning – Even with his healing and adamantium bones, Wolverine is still a human with internal organs like lungs. Lungs can't "heal" a lack of oxygen. His body would try to heal the dying cells, but the new cells would also die of oxygen starvation. Deprived of oxygen, Wolverine's brain would shut down in minutes. With his brain dead, lungs starved, and his heart no longer pumping blood, his body would be dead. His healing factor can't work after death. If it does, then it's not "healing," it's magic.

That guy wasn't Pyro. He was a Brazilian mutant called Sunspot (Mancha Solar). There are some other slips in your review but I'm super rusty to point them out since I stopped reading the comics some 8 years ago. 😛 I'm glad and surprised you're a fan though! 🙂 Great channel.

I know I'm late in game posting, but I just had a chance to see the movie. I thought it was great even though it had plot holes and inconsistencies, but after seeing the previous movies, I came to realize it wouldn't be true to the comics. Plus it's a movie where you have to suspend belief to enjoy it (because mutants don't exist in the first place). Anyway, bringing back Jean Grey, Cyclops, and future Xavier is an easy fix.  When younger Xavier looked into Wolverine's memories in 1973, he saw all of them die, so he could change the timeline to keep them all alive.  And to explain why the first three movies even exist since the timeline changed, if you've ever read the "What If…" comics, The Watcher explains there are infinite possibilities of how events occur.  I could geek out more, but this post is getting long and probably boring.  Just wanted to explain the ending, or at least how I interpreted it.

O.o  A minute into the video and I already like it.  When you start talking about Iceman I'm like "Oh God Finally!"  he's an omega class mutant, not only for his abusive amount of power because he could have probably made an entire ice fortress surrounding where they where or something that could AT Least slow the sentinels down, that place was smaller than the empire state and he could encapsulate that. But the main threat is is Virtually indestructible, he can be broken smash to pieces, liquified, boiled and evaporate, and he'll still be able to reform himself.  And there is so much more I could say about the others too.  Not to mention their battle strategy sucked, they all get owned like they were just new recruits found on a shelter 5 minutes before they start filming.  But well maybe they just wanted everything to be more dramatic.

In the beginning scene of the X Men days and pass the reason the Sentinels were so strong in the beginning everybody got killed is because they're made of adamantium which is very hard to destroy . I don't think any of the movies all over matter to the comic books but some similarities will be in the movies there's just no way that will match hand to hand
