💪 CLICK THAT NOTIFICATION BELL SO YOU NEVER MISS AN UPLOAD!
If you're squeamish.. you might not want to watch the part where the tear occurs :/
Bro you can hear it snap 🤮
When you are about to cooooom = 5:29
8 weeks recovery? 😆 Definitely not
8 weeks? Lol I had surgery to fix my tendon and they kept me immobilized for 8 weeks before I could start working on ROM or any kind of rehab it took me probably a year to get my strength anywhere close compared to what it was
8 weeks and your back to normal?? My ass… more like 2 years
I see 275 has broken alot of men in the gym including me. Same thing happened came down on second rep and SNAP!!! Horrible pain.
Ouch! respect to the spotter he was in there m/
This is scary than a horror movie.
What are early signs of chest tearing?
Omg I tore my pec and let me tell you that s** hurts so bad you can hear it and the feeling of the muscle ripping off the tendon omg and I didn’t have a spot that weight slammed on me so hard I yelled for help and everything but haven’t been on the bench since def very scary but boy do I miss benching 😢
Mark Steubing rib cage bounced 350lb thousands of times and never had an injury. It is genetic or caused by steroids building your muscles too quickly, while your tendons lag behind. Or maybe you are naturally going up in weight way too quickly.
Dude tuck your elbows
I've seen someone dislocating a shoulder on dumbbell press, but as the dumbbell was falling, it pulled the shoulder back in place.
It wasn't nothing he couldn't handle either.
What was the final recovery journey for this young man? Did he end up having surgery or Physical terapy? Did an orthopedic doctor ever saw him?
That second moan
I am straight machines ans extremely happy
I’m literally here after the Larry wheel video
😕
5:29 If you're gonna groan at least do it like a man.
Thats why i only exercise with resistance band. Its about tension not how much you lift.
Fuck that, I’m sticking to dumbbell. And definitely will take it easy, listen more to my body
He ain’t even lifting that much
Who else came here after Ryan Crowley pec tear….
when you feel tingling in a muscle drop the weight. IMO this one is totally overtraining gone wrong on some natty dudes that staying natty will end his career lifting. Why straight bar bench, dumbbells are better anyway.
Someone never told this guy to not flare his elbows
One of my clients over did it. We basically did chest day on a Tuesday since he was absent on Monday.. And we did chest day for strength so the sets are heavy. We finished it without any injuries, well until the next day. He trained without guidance, he did chest again. and lifted heavy..
Then He never showed up. Last I heard that he tore his peck. And this is why you should never Ever do it on your own when you're still a beginner. Best contact your PT first to what programs you should follow. He is eating great, his lifts and forms are perfect and yet he still got the tear.
He skipped rest day….
Watching this video makes you want to swap to dumbbells.
Wow. This is exactly what I’ve just done.
Literally word for word exactly the same 🤭
I tore mine and I'm trying to still bench (much less weight of course). Should I not bench at all till after surgery? I've noticed shoulder pain on that side.
Everyone don't want to watch the whole video, just this part: 5:22
Enjoy😉
I’m here because of the Larry wheels video now I’m even more freaked out because it’s a weight he could clearly handle….
Who did his recovery go after ?
I tear my pec and its hurting on benching at bicep area. Is it tendon or muscle which is tore? No pain at all at pec are while bencing. So is pec mucle connected to bicep?
Bench that for 10 reps but breathing hard in the first rep….. Sounds like he was progressively overloading too fast
How much was the weight on that bar?
This just happened to me a couple hours ago benching. I have an appointment with an ortho tomorrow.
weak steroid user tendons
I think personally that if you bring your arms way out on the bar (if that makes sense) it’ll be easy to tear a pec
