I always lock my elbows, also.. my hand placement is usually different but the way she showed made it even difficult..

The tip to start on the ground so you can line up your hands correctly is genius. I was doing my oushups all wrong and it caused a lot of shoulder pain. Thank you!!

What thickness is your exercise mat? Im starting out with a modified pushup and work my way up. Ive never been able to do a pushup but for cancer awareness I want to do something.

Thank you! I was doing it wrong this entire time and i struggled doing one rep. I did what you mentioned, keeping my hands even to my chest and pushed up through the heel of my hand and wow! It was so much easier. I was able to do 10. So happy. Thank you very much.
