Y’all are so dope!!! i really appreciate the positive words… I’m turning 43 and this is my very first injury… When you are that active, it can happen… Thankfully there’s good doctors to help me get back to 100%…. I’m down but definitely not out!!! And I will be fighting again as soon as I’m recovered… My recovery will give me the opportunity to study more, meditate more and hopefully finish the book I’m writing…. Anyway, I want y’all to take advantage of my birthday sale!!!! The code is: MFBDAY but you should be able to check out without entering It and it still applies!!!! I can’t wait to fly someone out here and put through a workout 😈. Ambrosia.mikerashid.com

As a weight lifter myself I tore my pec boxing in the exact same fashion. At first I felt a pinch then I kept boxing and then about a minute later I felt the tear. So my advice to any weight lifters who box is to stop after the initial pain and DON'T keep fighting. Praying you have a speedy recovery Mike 🙏

I tore my bicep but from the shoulder tendon. ITs called proximal bicep tendon. I detached it completely and curled down into a little ball, but in my case, towards my elbow. Doc right away said surgery, I didn't listen and just rehabbed it on my own. Took about 2-3 years of depressing weakness, but at the end it attached itself back and now is stronger dawg. I'm curling 75 lb dumbbells per arm.

I didn't know you could tear a bicep from boxing. Was it reaggravating a previous injury or over training?

Sorry you got injured and it doesn't surprise me watching you box- I know you love the sport and have a lot of power but you look super tight and you wing your pushes like most buff dudes- you are gonna straighten your arm again the way you swing- I bet when you were younger and more slim you were better boxer- one other note, claiming your next opponent is gonna be a high light reel is pretty cocky and not what you preach

I used to work out with a boxing coach and he always told me never to box and do weight training at the same time because of this reason.

This is why I no longer lift heavy either. I'm 50 plus years old now and there's no need to. Lift lighter weight and just do more reps. Those real heavy weights can wear on your joints after a while.

This video started off with him pretending to be humble and trying to help someone for nothing – But then predictably turned very quickly into a sales pitch for his company. Arrogance personified ….

March 13th over here mike !! I consider most pisces to be fam I truly look at them in a different manner character wise we are just a different breed of people. Mike I looked at one of your videos and I said this man is very knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. Then when you articulated your knowledge to your audience and made it simple for even a novice to understand I was really impressed. Immediately there was no doubt in my mind, I said this dude has to be a pisces, he's special and I know US. So I Googled you and boom march 14th. I must say just knowing that your a PISCES I have even a greater level of RESPECT and APPRECIATION for what you do 👊🥂🙏

Yo I snapped my Long head tendon warming up for my last fight, I cant believe It TBH. But I didn't have the op, I'm in recovery and training it slowly. My biggest problem is bicep cramp.

It's a tragedy when injuries occur especially more so when it happens to your most faithful weapon in your arsenal. Take it easy man, let it have its time to recover and I hope it recover fast.
