Eat healthy and build ripped lean muscle with this…
Eating healthy when traveling can be a challenge, if you are not prepared. In this video, I share with you my tips for eating healthy on the road throughout the day. I show you the exact things I ate during a recent trip to Wrestlemania 31 for work. From breakfast foods to lunch and dinner options, as well as a supplement packaging trick that helps me to stay consistent with my diet wherever I am.
Most people travel (for either business or pleasure) and wind up gaining weight by the time they get home. This is because traveling usually throws people off their normal eating schedules and leaves them hungry and craving foods they don’t normally eat at times they don’t usually eat. This doesn’t have to be the case.
If you prepare a little ahead of time, you can definitely eat healthy anywhere you find yourself. One of the things I do before I go anywhere is pack my ATHLEAN-Rx supplements in little bags or single servings. The supplements provide me with a convenient and quick meal (I mix them with a banana and some skim milk) so I can get my protein in without having to sit down at a long meal. I’m usually working during my travel and I just don’t have the time to take a lot of time to eat.
The night I arrive at the hotel, I spend about 10 minutes looking through the menus for the restaurants in the hotel (as I like to hit these up for dinner and breakfast often during my stay) or for other options around the hotel (within walking distance). I will often ask the concierge what are the healthiest places to eat so I know what my choices are by the time I wake up my first morning there.
Once I locate a place that has a breakfast I can count on, I do not switch! I continue to eat there every morning of my stay. To me, it isn’t about variety it’s about consistency. I know that if I can get my consistently healthy breakfast in every day, I’ll not only feel better but I will be able to continue to build muscle while I travel without worrying about getting fat.
Sometimes, room service is my only option. While it’s often ridiculously expensive, it does provide a convenience and a customization level that some restaurants aren’t even offering. Since my body is a large part of what I do for work, the added expense is something that I’m willing to pay to ensure that I can meet my nutrition needs the right way. Not for everybody but then again, I swear that it’s possible to find something healthy at any restaurant so you definitely have options.
If you feel that you are often a slave to your nutrition and diet then it’s time to stop worrying. With the X-Factor Meal Plans in the ATHLEAN-X Training System, you can worry less and eat more. You can start eating like an athlete anywhere by visiting and looking into the convenience and effectiveness of the plan.

Another great video jeff thank you! I have a question, I am a local fuel delivery truck driver I'm usually gone about 10-16 hours from the time I leave home till I get home, I am able to microwave some breakfast when I get to where my truck is parked but after that I often and heat food up, this has made it very hard to eat the healthy food I need. What do you suggest as far as cold meals I can keep in a lunch box and eat on the go? Thanks!
No wayy he lives in Connecticut!! I live in Rhode Island. I’m moving right now
Awesome that Jeff goes to WrestleMania
Jeff, thanks for sharing these tips. As always I respect your opinion highly because it is clear that you live the lifestyle your encouraging others to live if they wish to meet their health goals. For me, I'm considerably overweight and have issues with discipline. I'm binging on your videos prior to starting my next attempt to make lifestyle modifications that I can live with. I'll get it together this year.
P.S. Thanks for not being a douche … that's common on Youtube and especially in the fitness community on Youtube.
Well shit….cops thought i store cocaine in my car. Now I am in jail

A great video idea would be exercises to help alleviate bowl leggedness.
I live in SJ and I've never been to Whispers and used to live downtown in college. Im gonna have to check it out!
Is that gum on your bench?
Hard to apply some of this on a family vacation. The fam doesn't want to eat at the same place the whole time.
I have to change my mindset to not splurge when traveling. I always come back heavier and have to cut calories to get back.
Ahi and asparagus. Yes please!
Where do the RX Supplements fit in when eating healthy anywhere, like do you take them before the meal, within the meal, or after the meal ?
If I'm your client, WE GOING TO MCDONALD'S >:)
A side effect of steroids is your jaw widens….who else is staring at his jaw
Wish I could've sat next to Jeff and Sting eating dinner at the Ritz Carlton in San Jose during WM weekend
best advice ever: "if you don't enjoy what you eat you will never be able to stick to it." thx Jeff.

we need to CGI-remove the chewing gum 🙂
Good and practical tips Jeff boss. In India being a vegetarian you often undergo difficulties when you are traveling. But I liked how you summed it up. Thanks once again.
