Learn the Foundations of Salabhasana or Locust pose! This yoga pose is a back bend with the strong support of your foundation and the earth. It has many variations and is a great preparation for Bow Pose or deeper back bending asanas. Locust Pose is a great full body strengthener and wonderful to relieve fatigue and giving some love to the spine. Extend through the crown of your head and enjoy the balance of strength and grace in Salabhasana.

Hey I heard that this posture help grow taller? Is it true is it just a myth?
Hi Adriene! Thank you so much for your videos. I have enjoyed practicing with you for nearly six months, and have told anyone who would listen how awesome you are. Thank you!!
One yoga pose I have trouble with is the bow pose. I just can't grasp both ankles at the same time. I can only do one leg at a time… kind of a broken bow if you will 🙂
Could you add a Foundations of Yoga video for this pose? Thanks again for all you do. <3
This is the "taser prongs in the small of your back" pose or tasaprongabacksana.
this hurts my crotch
😆👍❤
Hey Adriene. I loved this video but the minute I got up I got an insane headache right in my forehead. Any thoughts? Thank you.
its sizzling girl if looked from my eyes
a closeup was highly desired
The "foundation" videos are excellent! Thanks Adriene 🙂 Love from Amsterdam <3
no, not correct method.
This was great until you went into child's pose. I find child's pose really hurts my back and makes it hard to breathe. Any suggestions?
Lift your spirits ☺️✨ Thank you Adriene and namaste 🙏🏻
👍👌✌💪
I loved the palms pressing down variation! Also, the tip about pushing the pubic bone into the Earth is really helpful because my back did not feel all that great from solely clenching. Now I feel like this pose is more approachable, and I really do feel my anxiety and stress melt away when I'm rocking my hips out (usually sore back) and calming my nerves. Many thanks Adriene 🙏
This one looks like superman pose without hands in front, in class they told to keep the upper body down while doing butterfly (half and complete) .
nice teacher)
Très originale, très bénéfique, merci
it is so hard
This was fun
Sexy ass
Thank you
