I have a lot of heat in me already because of some healing sunburns, particularly on my thighs, and yet that somehow made the heat created in this practice feel just fine. It was all heat. It was all warmth. It was all welcoming. I'm so grateful to be back after inadvertently taking a week's break. This is a perfect practice for recommitting, not just to yoga, but to all other aspects of my life, and to the idea that I am capable and this is possible (and it is okay). Thank you!

this was the perfect practice for today
So ironic that I skipped two days and this is the video waiting for me. Anyways, those were rest days I chose for myself out of intentionality, not shame, which on second thought, takes discipline to recognize when to have those days and how to come back from them.
Girl i love you so freaking much! You continue to encourage me to push myself and love myself! I am continuing to lose weight and can now do a lot of moves that i couldnt before like hovering in table top and curling toes and sending it back to down dog. For some this might seem silly but for someone like me who has been big and struggled her whole damn life this is HUGE! Thank you Adriene for your love and support and your videos. But most of all thank you for your encouragement and for being you!

Day 12 complete my sister and I had an angry/frustrating reaction to this video for different reasons.
First yoga practice in almost 2 weeks! This was perfect to jump back in with. The length did scare me off a little but I found my way to the mat eventually. Oh yoga, Adriene & Benji… how I've missed you 💜

Found Yoga with Adriene September 2020 and have been practicing regularly since then. Today stayed balanced in Crow for the first time!
i feel empowered to do hard things! for some reason with yoga i don't feel the same resistance as with other things in life like singing regulalrly or doing work, who knows why. i cried at the beginning and at the end of the practice because i feel so unhappy with myself for not actually talking to my close ones, not sticking to my goals, not doing anything, just spending days glued to my laptop binging youtube and other low-energy stuff…. maybe i should go to a therapist.
Discipline is the main theme in my life right now….

I have noticed that there are days when I am just not able to relax one of my shoulders, for me it's the right one. No matter how much I try. Does this happen to others as well?

Fantastic class, picked out exactly what I needed today. I set myself the intention to really focus on alignment as I had gotten a little sloppy. Very happy about my progress in crow pose, too.
my dog is old and sleeps very peacefully and i check her breath all the time lol
Very good self discipline practice. It did bring me a relaxed energy. It also strengthen your core, balance awareness and focus.
