Much appreciated today
As a recovering addict with 5.5 years clean; I am scared shitless. I made the decision to upgrade some high school courses, went really well, received honours. My mental health decided to take a huge decline, processing childhood trauma has NOT been comfortable. My doctor put me on a highly addictive medication, it has led me to suicidal thoughts and severe depression. So now I must remain seriously diligent and look after myself. I came across this “scared” practice, and it was meant for me. I am extremely fearful to go through withdrawals from this medication. Constantly, filled with hopelessness and loneliness. I appreciate you Adriene; more than you’ll ever know.
