Just for the Alphadestiny and followers information.
In his book " The New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding " Arnold Schwarzenegger (who in case you didn´t know once was a fairly famous bodybuilder) also advocates a variation of the snatch grip high pull.
Albeit he calls it a heavy upright row and suggests you pull it all the way from the floor a heavy as you can go his description of the execution of the exercise is precisely the same as the one given by Alec Enkiri.
In the book Arnold uses a picture of Rich Gaspari ( another fairly well known old-school bodybuilder ) to illustrate the movement.
In the section on Trapezius exercises he suggests you do the real heavy shrugs in a Smith machine with the bar behind you so as to go as heavy as you can when doing them.
Nowhere does he advocate any kind of rack pulls.
Perhaps out of consideration for the equipment?

Alpha destiny rack pulls almost 1100lbs, this means that he is doing something right, and also a lot of his advice has helped me much more that Scott's advice
Ive always only ever done rack pulls above the knee. mainly as I have lower back issues (two slipped discs from my teens to my 20's) so above the knee takes a lot less pressure off the lower back in the range of motion getting past the knees
Rack pulls are a useless exercise.

above the knee heavy rack pulls.. look so ego lifting type shit but its crazy how much they work out your traps.. idk i wouldn't do them at the gym (below the knee rack pulls at the gym) because they look so stupid.. but when i'm alone in my room with my home gym they're a to go exercise why not
I think knee level or lower is good. Above the knee, or halfway up the thighs is just too high. Also, snatch rack pulls can increase ROM and smash the upper back (in a good way, lol 😂)
