Hey, Scott. I have a question concerning weight training. I came across this article that said that it was more beneficial to do weight training in the evening, because your muscles are at their peak. I'm not sure what to think because I've been listening to different people and they all say something that contradicts what the other says. In your professional opinion, would it be better to do my weight training in the morning or in the evening? Thanks.

Awww I miss this live session!!! Bummer!!!! :-/ Well now I start to work again full time as Sous Chef. Let’s see how my routine changes again. I don’t know when to incorporate my workout. Before work or after. I start at 9am to 5pm.

@scotthermanfitness What if I have to be up at 2am? All of my workouts I do in my house but my job is an on call basis. So my sleep is totally inconsistent and random. Sometimes I have to be up at 2am. Should I still be working out as soon as I wake up or when am I hurting my body instead of helping it.
I used the hex squats you suggested in this live video, definitely a great workout but gonna take a while to get use the technique
What should I do to prevent injury in the morning? My second strength training day for my 6AM routine, I pulled a muscle in my back after ~40 minutes of warmup (20 min walk to gym, 15 mins cardio, 5 mins low weights). I always drink a casein+fiber protein shake or BCAAs before workout too. I had fasted for ~32 hours before that.
Is that injury due to the fast, or due to morning workout?
I have been working out everything for 4 months.This months i feel like my chest hasn't grown or changed.What should I do?
