For the drop sets, what about lowering the weight every set by a little and to till failure each set knowing as long as you lower the weight each set you will be able to get more than 1 -3 reps in? would that be a good strategy to activate the metabolic muscle building method and causing that cell swelling?
Hey I have a question, I'm 13 and currently have a 4 pack, but normally people with 6 packs their abs are above their belly button, my 4 are down to my belly button, so my question is, is that due to genetics or just not enough muscle?

Thanks for all the great info! I'm trying to get rid of this dad bod. I know you prefer carb cycling for leaning out but you seem knowledgable about low carb dieting. What are your thoughts on keto for fast fat loss vs body building? I was a cop and got accustomed to high volume training at a high frequency. But after having kids I gained weight then I left policing and became a software developer so I've gained even more weight. I know we dropped weight really fast in the academy while my diet was horrible. Im curious if a keto approach would preserve muscle better while dropping lots of weight as bodybuilding.com seems to be pushing increasingly over the years. I havent been able to find one of your videos on this topic but I think keto would be a great topic for a video. Thanks again!

Question (please help someone who will make a point not just answer OMG thats bad stop doing it): So I can lift same weight in exercises for back, legs for all 5 sets ( i do 1 compound movement for each muscle group and then I do like extra bicep, calves, deadlift because I prioritize squat, and chest flies with DBs). BUT when I overhead press or do Bench Press I go the heaviest I can to comeplete 12 reps but that means I fatigue on each set and I need to lower the weight almost every set. But that only happens on Bench Press and Overhead Press. I go as heavy as I can on other exercises all the time but I can complete the sets with same weight. Why is that? Should I lower the weight a little and then do all 5 sets with same wegiht for 12 reps each set? But that means Im not lifting the most I can and I wont feel tired at all after 1st set I think. Please help. thank you

Hey Scott, so I've done PPL for 5 months,. (have been working out for around a year now) and then I was out for 2 due to a wrist injury. And now Ive been getting back into working out a lot. Question is, would a 5 day split work for bodybuilding effectively even if we are only hitting one body part once per week? In terms of gaining muscle, hypertrophy rather than strength gains, is the 5 day split the way to go?
