Strict pullups all day.

Pull ups is a very functional movement that translates into many different sports so learning the "Basics" aka "Strict Form" can only help you become better at whatever sport you're doing.

Im so glad you said this because some people be saying they gain like 30 pounds of muscle in a couple of months. I said, yeah you gained fat and barely muscle. So this was very good truth.

On ur last talk on nutrition u mentioned you only have one protein shake in the morning. Is that still so or have u increased your supplement intake? And have u added any others. How do u feel on test boosters?

If you like clean bulking, cool, if that works for you…… but if dirty bulking works for you do it. Don't let some pretty boy tell you how to bulk because he's afraid of a little fat! If a was a model for better bodies I wouldnt dirty bulk either but since nobody paying me to stay lean year round im going to enjoy my myself…… fat & all

I feel the same way about clean bulking. protein is the main source of building new quality muscle. I just made a body progression video and uploaded it because of the motivation i got from watching your 200 rep bench video with CT Fletcher. So far ive been able to do a 106 rep bench press workout with 205lbs on the bench. Soon ill be up to 200. You keep shit real bro and extremely motivating. Overtraining sets you up to build that solid muscle that stays with you. THX for the motivation. keep the videos coming bro.

Mad respect Mike! I've been watching more of your vids lately and respect your approach & mentality to exercise & health. My buddy who started me working has your same mentality so it hits home when I hear what you say. I am glad you addressed the clean bulk, i've started seeing the IIFYM more and more lately. To each their own and I can't talk in their progress because some guys are ripped!! But people see results but don't think about the longevity of health & fitness. What your body goes thru now will affect you down the line. Eating crap unhealthy foods is not the business as your body will start to react in a negative way. So these guys that eat fast food fits their macs and are shredded good for you but at what expense is this costing you?

Thanks Mike! People need to stop looking for shortcuts, everything counts & everything adds up.

On the pullups, you hit it on the money! Strict weighted all day! I too believe that will help crossfitters in their WOD's time all that.

Keep it real like always Mike! Thanks👍

You do think crossfitters don't do heavy weighted dead hang pull-ups in their workout? lmao

no, it has nothing to do with the "competition aspect of CrossFit." it's about the cardio response, core-to-extremity power output. CrossFit athletes do plenty of strict and weighted pull-ups. and we're all waiting for your Fran video. i'm sure you are more than strong enough to post a respectable time.

Do you do pull ups bro? Possibly send me a video of that if you do. I would love to see the iron addicts doing pull ups.
