Mike Rashid -I've put on some good size and strength, but what should I do to increase punching SPEED at this point?!?!? Also I've been doing a lil muay thai training and I'm wondering what you look for from your opponent when trying to avoid strikes

I like the idea of this. It makes sense. But man, punching people in the face (bare knuckled) is so freakin' dangerous/risky. I speak on the behalf on the puncher.

My thing is how is it going to effect the hand of the holder? Especially if you have someone that hits hard. People that don't normally do pads won't get that it… In itself is an art. You got to move it a certain way. You just don't hold it up and let the person hit it. Also, that price, Daaaaamn

Doing mma will activate a very different kind of muscle lol. Im not too sure what they call it, but i think it's called flexible strength. It sort of goes in the sense that while you may lift heavy weight, that doesn't mean you could say shoot on somebody and get the take down or grapple and win. It's just a different kind of strength that is definitely worth having.

I can see the benefits for the striker. But, what about the person holding it? It almost seems like it'll be a b*tch to hold on to without tearing up your shoulder. How does it feel??
